Dreamworld Collections - Clothing for 18 inch Dolls

Recently I made a custom order of Ariel - Little Mermaid gown.

The skirt is made of light till satin and covered with greenish tulle that has sparkles and white pearls that look like water bubbles. I think it gives an impression of being underwater and seeing the air bubbles shining with a sunlight going through. The darker taffeta bodice and overskirt look like a fish body with long tail fins. At the neckline I added tulle "water" element and a chain of metal fish and starfish. I added simple necklace of blue pearls and a hairpeace with delicate golden seashell and starfish.

Queen Charlotte - Digital PDF Sewing Pattern for 18" Dolls

At the age of 17, Sophie Charlotte married George III, becoming Queen Charlotte in 1761. She played an influential role as queen consort, known for her intelligence, strong character, and dedication to her family and country. They had 15 children together. :)

I did a little update to one of my historical gowns. I though that she needed a little more embellishments... :)

Catherine Howard (1523 – 1542) – she was young and foolish. She married Henry VIII in 1540 almost immediately after the annulment of his marriage to Anne of Cleaves. He was 49 and she was 16. She was stripped of her title as queen in 1541. She was beheaded three months later on the grounds of treason for committing adultery with her distant cousin. She was only 18 when she was executed.

Anne Boleyn – 2nd Wife of Henry VIII

Anne Boleyn (1501 – 1536) – she was being courted by King for 7 years before they got married. Getting divorce from Catherine of Aragon was not easy. And again Anne’s only job was to give son to the King. She had a daughter, princess Elizabeth, and 2 miscarriages of sons later. The marriage lasted only 3 years. Henry got tired of her and she was charged with treason and executed at age of 35.

Catherine Parr (1512 – 1548) she was the last of the six wives of King Henry VIII. She outlived him by one year. With four husbands she is the most-married English queen. About 6 months after Henry’s death, she married her fourth and final husband. The marriage was short-lived, as she died due to complications of childbirth. She was only 36 when she died.

All other babies were born dead or died soon after birth. Henry divorced her and banished her from court. He was so cruel that he even forbade her to see her only daughter.
