My husband and I had the pleasure of talking with a stranger waiting to order at Bier’s Brewery last night. Turns out he’s someone I’ve been waiting to meet for years…the owner of Bridge Street Blooms, the fabulous Charlevoix greenhouse, AND the nephew of the late Bert Stevens, one of my favorite German Village Fifth Street neighbors. Bert was a strong supporter of all efforts in German Village and the driving force behind the Huntington Gardens in Schiller Park. Chris is as talented and gracious as his lovely Aunt Bert. We got our beers and toasted to Bert. What a beautiful new connection. ❤️🌸🌻

I can’t say enough great things about
Clay Township, MI. I had clients close on a house there this morning. I called the township twice while we were negotiating the deal. The responses from every person I spoke with were beyond incredible customer service. We had a question post home inspection so I called the township to ask if it was possible to check whether the water meter was running in the unoccupied home. The township not only sent out a person from the water department immediately to read the meter, he called me while he was at the home to discussed possible answers. My heart goes out to the Clay Township Fire Department as they follow up on fighting six home fires on Harsens Island. Clay Township is on my list of favorite places. ❤️
