The last three years I noticed that the Pentair product isn’t what it used to be; however, I was afraid to try a different product as I only want to install products I believe in. For the last two years I began switching to Jandy and I am a full 100% believer in their product! The old pump is a Pentair Intelliflo. The driver went out two years ago and the pump was only 4 years old. Luckily I had a used one that I could replace it with. That driver went out last week. How often are you having your filters cleaned? It should be at the very least every 3 months. Here at DPS Pools we clean them every 10 weeks. The cleaner the filter the better the pool!
