We Help You Achieve Improved Health & Well-being and a Slimmer You
We help you heal your gut, lose
Take the next step THIS Monday.
Often people fail to reach their goals because they put too much pressure on themselves to achieve according to someone else’s standard. This can create overwhelm, frustration, disillusionment, disappointment or a sense of failing. Inevitably giving up is the flow on effect.
Instead of focusing solely on your end goal, try breaking it down into smaller micro goals. This will help give you a sense of achievement and the encourage to keep going. Remember, moving forward, no matter how slowly, is still progress. 😉
The body knows how to heal itself. We just need to give it the right ingredients and environment.
How do you climb a mountain?
One step at a time.
Eat your food not your feelings. Explore them and voice them instead. Putting things together for yourself about what you’re going through will provide more relief and progress than the temporary chemical response in your brain from eating certain ‘foods’.
Here’s a little perspective for when you’re frustrated by ‘small’ losses...and another reason why using multiple tracking methods is important. eg taking your measurements weekly, noticing the fit of your clothes, taking photos for comparison.
Need some help breaking your relationship with your fridge?
Who is feeling this? 😱😫
Now is the time to get on top of it!
Drop those lockdown kgs (including the ones that were there before 😉)

🌟Interesting interview about the coronavirus with the French Scientist Luc Montagnier, who won the nobel prize for discovering the HIV virus, and Pingfan Rao PhD discussing "the cure" for not only the Coronavirus but ALL VIRUSES."
🧬 HE SAYS: "The fundamental problem of this specific virus and all other viruses is OXIDATIVE STRESS (aka: Toxic Free Radical Damage). We need an intervention on a cellular level. Antioxidant production at a rate that will be effective. Our cells have been weakened because of many environmental factors and this produces oxidative stress. Eliminating or lowering oxidative stress is the key factor to combatting viruses 🦠
Did you read that??!!
Lowering your Oxidative Stress is KEY to staying healthy!!
So how do I lower my oxidative stress exactly? What are these antioxidants that I need?
The main effective ones include a combination of:
Vitamin C
Vitamin D3
Vitamin A
Vitamin E
Turmeric
Green tea
CoQ10
Organic olive leaf extract
* Filter your water & drink more (35ml per kg)💧🥛
* Eat fresh fruit and vegetables 🌶🍏🍐🍊🍋🍇🍉🍓🥝🍅🥒🥬🥦🥑🥕⬆️✅
* Limit your intake of animal proteins/meat (you don’t need a big slab of it. If you’re a meat eater all you need is a palm-sized portion) 🍣✂️
* Reduce life stress 🤯⬇️
* Reduce alcohol intake 🥃🍺🍸🥃⬇️
* Reduce tech time especially for your kids 📵
* Quit or cut down on smoking 🚭
* Get fresh air 🏔🏕🌳
* Move more/ light exercise🤸🏻♂️🏊🏼♀️🏃🏻♀️💃🏻
* One of the most important to do in your home as it affects the whole family including your pets...TURN OFF YOUR WIFI when not in use, especially at night when you’re asleep. You don’t need those EMFs bouncing around you and your loved ones 24/7. It’s been proven to have very destructive effects on a cellular level. 📱💻📴
Where can I get all those antioxidants in the doses needed in one hit so I don’t have to eat a whole veggie garden each day or a handful of supplements? We have one that fits that profile. If you’re interested in being proactive with your health and that of your loved ones then send a message.
Progress is still progress no matter how small or how slow. Some days you might have an upward ‘blip’. If weighing daily, don’t let that discourage you. Look at the trend over the whole week as well as the bigger picture of how far you’ve come overall. This is why taking photos and your measurements is so important. It gives you more indicators than just the number on the scale.
What will you choose..?
Send me a message and I’ll help get you started. 🙂
What kind of body do you want to be wearing?
When someone says to me that they want to start, but they need to wait until the timing is right. 🧐
Here’s the truth..
You will literally always have “things” going on in your life. That IS life. 🤷🏼♀️
You have a job (maybe more than 1), you have school, you have a spouse, you have kids and they have school and sports, you have a social life with events, birthdays, celebrations, vacations, etc.
There will NEVER be a right time to start.
You just have to start.
When will you stop letting life get in the way of your health?
Here’s the thing, it’s not about when the time is right; it’s about when you decide to take that first step. 👣
If you’re needing guidance or direction on how to get started, please reach out to me through a direct message.
You’re not alone. 💙
Managing diabetes can be challenging, but the good news is losing weight can help increase the odds of remission — and it doesn’t have to be drastic. New research published in Diabetic Medicine shows people who lost 10% of their body fat in the first five years following a Type 2 diabetes diagnosis were more than twice as likely to put the disease into remission than those who maintained their weight. What’s more, participants in the 2019 study were not required to follow exercise routines.
The existing evidence for achieving remission suggests extreme levels of exercise and rather restrictive, outdated or fad diets; “this is simply not realistic or achievable, especially in the longer-term [and] it is de-motivating for patients when they are unable to achieve large amounts of weight loss,” says lead author Dr. Hajira Dambha-Miller, PhD, a clinical lecturer in general practice at University of Cambridge.
WHY FOOD CHOICES PLAY AN IMPORTANT ROLE
Type 2 diabetes is diagnosed when fat builds up in the liver and pancreas, switching off the genes that control insulin production. “In order to prevent diabetes, or reverse it once it happens, we need to decrease the need for insulin and therefore decrease the need for the pancreas to have to make so much of it,” explains Sarah Hallberg, medical director at Virta Health. Her research found a low-carb diet of less than 130 grams of carbohydrates per day helped with long-term remission.“Carbohydrates (refined) cause insulin and blood sugar to rise,” explains Hallberg. “If someone has insulin resistance long enough and continues to eat refined carbohydrates, the pancreas can’t keep up with the demand for all additional insulin it needs [and] blood sugars start to rise.” That’s why it’s a good idea for those with diabetes to stick to complex carbs from whole grains and veggies, which don’t cause drastic spikes in blood sugar levels.
THE BOTTOM LINE..? Adding more movement to your life and adopting a diet plan that can help with sustainable weight loss and contribute to remission for people with Type 2 diabetes, says Hallberg. Aiming to lose 10% of your body weight is a good place to start.

You can do it!
When you give your body what it needs for healing it can perform what seems like miracles.
Exercise isn’t always possible for some who are just starting out on their health optimisation and weight loss journey. On DROPit we don’t recommend starting either, yet you will get results!! Just increase your movement eg park your car further away at the shops, take the stairs instead of the escalator/elevator.
Your evening routine before bed is important in helping ensure you have a restful sleep. Engaging in what we call good ‘sleep hygiene’ practices such as these and refraining from screen time and bright lights for 1.5 hrs before bed will have you on the right track.
Change happens when the pain of staying the same outweighs the pain of change. How comfortable is your comfort zone really?
Releasing Weight Easily...
As a health professional, for the last 25 years, in what I call the ‘sick care industry’ and seeing the alarming and growing rates of obesity, disease, and emotional/mental health issues I decided I needed to do more to help others achieve control of their health and body... to help people find solutions not bandaids.
For over 10 years I have been helping individuals and families close to me achieve better health including weight loss and I decided it was time to share my knowledge and experience with a wider community and help even more people.
Wellness is an overall state of physical, emotional, and psychological well-being that goes far beyond merely being free of disease. It's about staying healthy, active and positive, reducing the toxic load on our body and the risks of disease throughout our lives. Simple dietary, lifestyle and nutritional choices have the potential to help us achieve a healthy weight and maintain wellness and are just the beginning of a happier, healthier you.
Having watched my mum struggle with her weight most of her life then get very sick and pass away at the tender age of 42 I vowed I wouldn’t go down that path, however fast track past 3 kids and a marriage breakdown I boarded the yo-yo train.. much to my despair. I tried many different weight loss diets and intense training programs with only temporary results. I went through a range of emotions from the thrill of success to the shame and embarrassment of rebound weight gain. My weight went up and down like a 1980’s coca-cola yo-yo. I researched and devotedly followed “the industry’s” diets and intense training programs. I gained 20kg, I lost 15kg. I gained 16 kg, I lost 20 kg I gained 13 kg, I lost 9kg, I gained 14kg... I did everything the “experts” said to yet the rebound kept hitting me where it hurt and left me with immense feelings of shame, embarrassment and failure until I finally said enough! “I shouldn’t have to train like a demon just to stay at a healthy weight!”
