One happy girl in her newly made birthday dress:) pattern is Abigail fairy dress. It gave me headaches and stress levels shoot through the roof. But all worth it in the end❤️ anything for my wee princess 🌹🌹

The time for finishing this dress is getting close and i need more time!!! Lol if anyone have some spare time to sell me, i wont hagglenon price!!

Life is pretty good right now🥰 The rest of the family went up to the coast to meet a friend of our son. Me and wee man here stayed home. He is not allowed out yet. Need more vaccinations and all that stuff before he can socialise. I don’t think he is complaining to be honest:) and nor am i 🙂 my two favourite things snuggles and crochet 🙂

Now im sort of proud of myself. Inhave made half fingered mittens.
They are not perfect a litle bit wonky. i took on a challenge on my husband’s suggestion lol. And i do love a challangr 🙂 Our son is diabetic ans his hands are always cold. I made him a pair of fingerless mittens a while back and he use them all the time. But they not warm enough. So we sat and checked the merino wools. So he chose the colours Storm blue and purple.
The fingers where a nightmare! I won’t say never again but i think its unlikely i do them again. Unless he ask me for more 🙂 a mummy can not say no to that 🙂

After a very stressy start of the year i been away hubby been a way been to surgically remove a tooth.,kids been sick pets been to vet. And pretty much every day been booked with needfull stuff and well you get the idea. Anyhow when hubby have a business trip to the states and he comes home with this. One can only admit i have a very good man:) ❤️❤️ was a very nice surprise ❤️ now i can take some chill time and use up all my calorie free cakes!!!:)

And they are done!!! A warm hubby is a happy hubby. They are far from perfect but they are functional 😂 have not made mittons in many many many years last was in school i made hot pink mittens for my nana 😂😂

Its Friday evening. What a week it was☺️ now some knitting and Bob Ross. Hubby is complaining his hands are cold when he taking the doggy for walks in the evening. So i better get a move on his gloves :)

Not everything goes as planned all the time😂 first and foremost it takes me ages to make amis due to my sore hands and extremely tight stitches. On a good day i can only make maximum 10rows before hands cramp up. Half tiered counting stitches and obviously i did something very wrong😂 this we dude was very cross eyed😂 eye was way off where it should be. I had the choice of: Ripping up a whole nights work. Or try to get the safety eye off. I managed to get the eye off and moved it.
I belive it is as strait as it can be considering its made in a sprial 😊 (last picture) we learn from our mistakes. But to my defence there is nothing written in the pattern where to put the eyes. More than amout of stitches appart no indication on where to put the first eye on the given row. But i think i smashed it. When fully stuffed it be shaped better

Yes you can teach an old dog new tricks:) pair of knitted mittons each for the kids:)). Still long way to go but its a start :)

Now I have had a very busy week, husband away on a business trip for a week.. i can finally sit and relax for a while 🙂

And the fufu jumper is done. And ofcorse fuufuuhad cold toes so she needed slippers to go with her jumper 🥰 pretty pleased with this outfit. Im not a knitter and i don’t have any pattern. Despite that it did turnout out pretty well.

As lt have been gifted now i can finally show:) its soooo cute and im in love:). Our daughter asked menif i could make a dog looking like our dog for daddy/hubby birthday. And ofcorse i have it my best:)

Why do we do this? I know I’m not alone. Must be a crafter condition 😂 im like a magpie but with projects. And well i do use shiny things 🤭. I have so many projects started i need to finish them. But all these new things to make. I have beoken my own golden rule not to have more than 3 projects on the go. I have 6!!!!!!

1. Shawl ( nearly finished) for me
2. A dress for our daughter its not a wee its a
lady “small”.
3. A blanket for adult. (Row 40 of 350) been sitting for ages as our son changed his “hero” so might rip it up and start something different for him.

We do need to spice it up but come on haha

5 a crochet pumpkin
6 A knitted teddy cardigan

They are small projects will go quick but still im like a magpie for projects

I must have lost my mind 😂 never used a circular needle before but sure lets sprint before we can walk 😂

Well its not to bad. Not great but we are all learners when starting a new hobby🙂

They say practice makes perfect but im not sure in this case😂 need to work on my tension. Pumpkins are perfect for that. If they are bit wonky we can say they have character😂

I have finished a thing!!! I really want to show you but it will have to wait a few more days, its a “thing” our daughter wanted for her daddy for his birthday. So after hubbys birthday i will show you:). I can give a wee sneak peak 😘

Why not? lets make one more slightly bigger 🙂 or maybe 10? 😂

And no i am not eating cocopops while i craft 😂 they my knitting needle storage 🤭and an odd tunisian hook.
Stuff im not using very often

I have not knitted in Years part from a flat disk thing. But i thought i would change things up a bit so i knitted a pumpkin 😂 its not perfect in any way but its sort of cute if you don’t look to close 🥳

Sometimes this happens, a thought and feeling grows on you all day. yesterday for me it was butterflies could not get butterflies out of my mind. I cant say that they use to have any significant meaning to me, probably still dont. But i had to make one. Couldn’t not make one.
I guess someone wanted me to make one 🙂

A few wee bits i made i forgot to take pictures of all the teacher gifts an some gifts. Thats why the updates have been few. We also went on holiday. Trying to get out of the jetlag 😴🥱

Was asked to make A flower to be a gift to someone special:)

Im not sure how tall i willl make it. Honestly i dont know much about it yet 😂 Imjust using up my scrap yarns. Will it be a hand bag? Shoulder bag? or maybe a peoject bag? I have no idea yet time will tell. Just dipping my scrap yarns and take the colour that i grab:)

I could not find a handbag / shoulderbag i wanted. So i made my own . I belive inposted pictures before. Inwas notnsure if i should line it or not. Inopted for not and made a wee pocket for key’s because to be honest keys alwaya get lost in a bag. Also if out in crowds i can tie the draw string around and tie. Double hook it closed to minimise risk of bag dippers 🙂
