Good afternoon everyone! Hope you all had a great 4th of July and are getting those birds growing good.
As most of you know we are hosting the 2023 Old English nationals on January 20th, 2024. In Shreveport La.
This will be an “All Game” double show. However only the American Games, Modern Game, and Cornish will be eligible for both shows, the Old English will only compete in 1 show.
This years show will also be done in memory of the late
James Cooper.
Mr james was a long time Breeder of Old English bantams as well as a ABA licensed judge, Master Breeder/Exhibitor and 2 time OE National champion. He was best known for his Black , Silver Duckwing, and BB Red OE . We will have some special awards to honor him.
I will be making announcements pretty regularly up until show time so stay tuned.
We are looking forward to seeing everyone in Louisiana and plan to make this a National one to remember.

!!! SHOW UPDATE PLEASE READ!!!
hope everyone’s hatching season is going well.
For our 2023 January show date we will be combining All Game Show and the Pelican State Classic. So this will be a All Breed show for Large fowl, bantam chickens, and bantam ducks. This will be the only time we combine the two. We will resume our Pelican State Classic in November 24 as a separate show. This years change is due to our show staff attending the Old English Nationals in Kentucky on the Weekend we normally have the show. This January should be a great show, looking forward to seeing everyone!
Good evening everyone.
I would like to announce that the North Louisiana Poultry Club has dissolved as a single unit. There will be no more shows In Haynesville La aside from the local fair.
However on a positive note there will still be a Pelican State Classic Show. And a double show at that Shane Morris Brittany Mouser Igo and myself will be putting it on.
The Show will be held in Shreveport La in the same location as the Louisiana all games show.
There have been many great memories made in Haynesville by the NLPC and all who supported the Pelican state classic show over the years. Thanks to all the former members and officers for the hard work.
We hope you will all continue to support this show as we move forward.
Stay tuned for updates on show dates.
