Good article. I let my daughter schedule her orthodontist appointments, with me hearing the conversation so I can coach her....she will know her schedule and teachers better than I so who am I to say "you can miss this class for your appointment". And over the summer for FVLS she scheduled all her DBAs, web classes, email correspondences, and put the plan together with her FLVS teacher.
She is 12 so I would review the first few emails and listened to the first 2 calls to coach her but after that she had confidence to do it on her own.
Let's empower our children ♡ so they can be better citizens...for themselves and their community ♡

How to Help a Teenager Be College-Ready Being admitted to college doesn’t mean a student is ready for it. Parents can encourage kids to step up their levels of personal responsibility while still in high school.
Please let your children watch this. School is about to begin and they can't be reminded enough of the power of technology...it's great but can also be harmful...their choice...

Mr. Lou, the best bus driver and beloved grandfather figure to our kids in Autumn Woods for over 15 years needs our help. He has lost everything as a result of Irma.
Lou retired from his job in New York, came to Naples and started doing bus routes. He knows all of the kids, asks them about their interests, encourages them, and puts them at ease when they are upset.
We would like to give back to Mr. Lou. He lost his home and has limited insurance. Mr. Lou is humble and did not set this financial goal. We as a community set this goal in hopes of covering some of what he will need to rebuild his home.
We can’t convey what a lovely, humble person Mr. Lou is, please share with your family and friends

If you’ve ever worn a pair of , you know how it is when they’re . When we’re looking through , lenses it’s hard to see anything , kind of like when we’re in a negative . If you’re stuck in a negative state of mind, everything in front of you is going to look bad, no matter how good it may actually be. those dirty lenses and start seeing your in a more !
