Spring is the perfect time to get out and enjoy your state parks. As you wander the trails or set up camp, I hope you will consider how that particular park came to be. Who in the community came together to decide that special place should be preserved for all generations to come. Creating a new state park can take years and involve teams of citizens, elected officials, and TPWD staff. Honor them by knowing the history and journey of each park. https://georgelbristol.com
