Have y'all noticed my curls looking a little more defined lately? I have a secret. I TRIMMED MY OWN HAIR 😱.
Right before I left on vacation, I noticed my hair was in need of a trim. Sooo, in desperation, while Olaplexing and curl training, I just snipped my ends off!
Now I'm not a licensed hairstylist so I don't recommend doing this, but oddly enough, it worked for me. Right away I noticed my curls springing to life!
My Curl Revival Go-To is OLAPLEX. I have been using it for a little over a month and the difference in my hate is insane! It has truly taken my wash days from 👎 to 😱. Swipe to see my wash days before adding Olaplex No.3 to my routine. This will definitely be a product I keep stocked.
It's Saturday in self-quarantine. I've lost count of the days, all I know is that the day can't begin until coffee is had and I wear that philosophy like war paint 🤷
Just made it past one month on keto and I've just been thinking about standards of beauty. My biggest struggle with weight loss has always been finding a way to eat healthier that I could stick with. When I couldn't, I'd feel stressed and depressed thinking I would never reach a goal and be happy with my body. This time around I learned that putting pressure on myself to fit a standard of beauty that isn't me, was preventing me from living a healthy life, both physically and mentally. You have to love the skin you're in at every stage! So yea I'm still alittle soft bodied, but well, that just means my hugs feel all the more better🤷♀️😘! Here's to the next 2 months!

Back on my workout grind! I'm starting slow with 3 workouts a week. Workouts + Keto should get me to my goals. I'm excited to see where this journey takes me!
Beautiful beach day in the Dominican Republic and Piña Colada in a🍍! Sometimes you gotta stop and be grateful for the life you live!
I'm really trying to pace myself in learning about keto and going into ketosis. I have the bad habit of diving in head first into things then getting bored and falling off. I don't want to do that this time. I want to learn as I go and adjust as needed. Starting off week 2 of and week 1 of my workouts! LETS GO!
My first ever meal 😂😂😂 I find the easiest meal to make keto is breakfast. I'm fine with an omelette and some veggies, or a scramble (kinda what I already do). The hardest for me is LUNCH! Only because, I usually have a late breakfast and I don't want to make a whole meal for lunch and then for dinner again. But so far it hasn't been as bad as I thought!
Tomorrow is Day 1 of my Keto journey. I've been needing to do something different for a while. I've been told that it's not an easy journey but a beneficial one. So here's my starting point. 170lbs. This time I have a slew of resources at my disposal and a community to keep me motivated as well as my fiancé joining me. I'm optimistic that I'll be successful with this. So here goes. Rejourney take 3!
Does anyone else workout in their pijamas when they run out of workout clothes? Def time for laundry day!
