Changing our life and that of others
What would be beautiful is if we all can live together, without judgement or persecution. Respecting our differences ππ
Good Thursday morning guys. A bit of current affairs, as I'm taken back by the turmoil on our streets. Let's pray for peace ππ
Sometimes, we may not get the results that we are looking for today, but thankfully there is always a tomorrow ππ
What kind of relationship do you have with your Bathroom scales? As for me, we are not on the same page at all π«π«
Another day, another opportunity ππ Reflecting on my healthy living regime. Good days and not so good days π«£π«£π€
Talking about passion, I came across this quote by Ralph Waldo Emerson
"Nothing great in the world has ever been accomplished without passion."
Our passion can shape our world π
Well for us, we are passionate about the things of The Creator and all things pertaining to His Word. Also, I love to understand truth and the foundation of things. We don't tend to follow the 'status quo' but rather love to understand why we do the things we do βΊοΈπ
Good morningππ. There are a number of things that people are passionate about. It could be a past time/hobbie or even something that winds you up. Before I share a few things about me, what is it for you π€π€
A scripture to wrap up the day:
Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, Sweet to the soul, and health to the bones.
Proverbs 16 v 24 KJV
Have a great night π΄π΄
Also thinking about, it's lovely being complimented, but when last have we complimented somebody else π€π€
Happy Monday everyone. As a driver, it's so nice when you are complimented about the ride. It's good to know your doing something right ππ
I hope you all had a great weekend and have a great sleep, ready and raring for the week ahead ππ
Martin Luther King, Jr. quoted the following:
We must accept finite disappointment, but never lose infinite hope.
Never lose hope ππ
The scripture states: Romans 15:4 KJV
For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.
And I have to say that an irreplaceable gift is that of salvation, which even though I don't deserve it, He paid the price for me πππ
My standout gift was my surprise 50th birthday party organised by my family. It was amazing πππ
Happy Sabbath morning everyone.
What's the greatest gift you have received? An all expenses paid Carribbean cruise maybe π«π«π« It's on its way ππ
In about an hour or so, is probably one of the most beautiful signs you can see. When it's been a lovely day and the sunsets over the area. Absolutely brilliant π―π―
I was thinking how lovely it must be to take a ride down the Thames during this warm time (if your not working of course)βΊοΈβΊοΈ
Happy Friday everyone. Haven't we been having some glorious weather of late. I am loving it πππ
I'm sure you've got it, yes it's Abram or Abraham. Lot was his nephew and the sacrifice of his son was the test I referred to. Tests are to try us, so whatever test is before you today, you have what it takes to overcome it. ππππ Let's keep going
How you getting on? My last set of clues are: One of his brothers name is Nahor, he has a famous nephew, he was born in Haran and moved to Ur, he had 1 son with his 1st wife and arguably had the biggest test a father could deal with π€π€
Happy 1st day of the month people. To kick off a new month, I thought I might do another 'who am I' post (btw, it is bible based) ππ
So, this person has 2 brothers, his wife was barren, his name was changed and he can be found in the book of Genesis π€
Also it is good to be part of a community network, where you can share ideas, thoughts and experiences. Very valuable ππ
Apart from books, there are podcasts, YouTube and others that you can tap into. Where do you find most of your inspiration?
Happy last day of the month. I hope that July was a great month for you.
I was thinking that there are so many great books around, to give us inspiration each day but my favourite by far is the Bible without measure ππ
As we close off the day, John Templeton quoted this "It's nice to be important but it's even more important to be nice" A great quote to whomever needs it π«‘π«‘
Isn't nice to see everybody out enjoying the lovely weather. It doesn't matter how long it's here but just living in the moment
I don't know about you but the way things are shaping up today, this would be soooo nice π€£π€£
There is alot of fun and laughter at home as well, which makes all the tricky times of life very bearable.
