In 2021 I designed and made the “Concentric” harness My lovely friend and fellow artist was the first to wear this design and allow me to capture some delicate images of that moment. I remember her telling me “I feel like a warrior wearing this!” Those words said so joyfully. I mean to always empower and inspire with my work, in all the mediums I use. From tattooing, to leather to textiles to woodworking and metal working …. Etc. Many of my different skill sets are used to produce the pieces for L’oiseau Noir Bespoke. Being a one man show with this isn’t always so easy to keep up with everything, but with the new year ahead, I’m looking forward to growth here and continuing to produce hand made prices for you all to enjoy. Dare to love yourself as if you were a rainbow. 🌈 Here we have one of my more popular paddle designs, with a request for rainbow/oil slick dyed stingray skin face on one side and an Italian Vachetta face on the other. This stacked leather paddles is hand cut, Dyed( with the exception of the stingray) , sewn, edged coated sanded finished buffed etc. The handle scales are black stained oak with a high gloss finish. Matching stingray/vachette lanyard and titanium/ stainless hardware. The texture of the stingray can give some very interesting sensations on the skin, from the first impact to the last. Soft caresses and firm hits.💥💥 It can grip the skin a bit with its boney, pebble texture and leaves lovely marks to behold. A tricky material to work with, but it’s oh so beautiful! A stand out piece in any discerning individuals collection. ***king

How do you leave your mark on your toys? Raised H hand stitched to the opposite side of this fancy Vachetta leather and stingray skin paddle. With a hand stitched perimeter on the paddle as well. Texture is most evident where dark meets light on the turning edge and at the outer edge. A recent commission of one of my signature shaped , stacked leather paddles with a real stingray skin face on one side and a cheeky little detail on the other. Black dyed ,hand stitched, layered Vachetta leather with a kydex liner for rigidity yet still allowing flex. Faced with real stingray skin that has a texture that’s not only beautiful to behold and feel, but that grips the skin as the paddle impacts leaving delicious impressions and marks! Black stained oak handle scales and a Vachetta leather lanyard. The edges have been sanded, burnished, and edge coated to give a near mirror finish. Lots of hours into this piece and it’s now in the hands of its patient owner. Merci!! ***king
