I’m pleased to share some exciting news regarding my recent exhibition at the Carl Van Vechten Gallery at Fisk University, which ran from October 2023 to April 2024. I’m honored to announce that much of my work from this exhibition has been added to the university’s special collections. This recognition is particularly meaningful given the historic significance of the collection. I extend my heartfelt thanks to Jamaal Sheats for granting me the opportunity to exhibit in such a distinguished and historically significant venue.

Working with different materials to tell the story.

“It’s fascinating that most of my music-related images are very colorful. Perhaps it’s related to how I perceive music. Could it be about optimism? Does it reflect my childhood, or my current outlook on life, or do I simply enjoy colors? I’m not sure. This is the first time I’ve really considered it, as I stumbled upon this folder while searching for something else.”
