Happy Summer Third Grade Families!
There is still plenty of summer fun to be had, but we had some families ask us to share our Amazon Wish Lists for the upcoming school year as Prime Days are coming soon! We will update these lists throughout the school year.
Thanks for all of your support, we appreciate it! We can't wait to see you all soon!

Happy last day of 3rd grade from Mrs. Leslieโs class. We had fun class awards, and took lots of photos for our memory books! Thanks for an incredible year!

Thanks for an amazing year! โค๏ธ
Field Day Fun!
All school tug of war this morning!
It was a beeeeeutiful day to visit the bees! We are so fortunate to have Mrs. Simac and her knowledge and love for bees! We were suppose to head out there tomorrow, but with rain as a possibility in the forecast we made it out there today. We were the only class that got to see the queen bee! ๐
Hello everyone, Mrs. Simac here! Itโs one of my favorite days of the year - bee hive visits! This was the only picture I got because I couldnโt take off my gloves in the hives. We had a BLAST! Ask your child what they learned about honey bees! Mrs. Jefcikโs class visits tomorrow and Mrs. Leslieโs on Friday! ๐๐
Fresh, sunny air!
Mystery Science with magnets was a favorite! The students had so much fun!
The students love the Mystery Science lessons on force and motion!
More fun with 4K reading buddies, and learning about force and bridges in Mystery Science.
Photo dump! Reading, building, pollination, science fruit or science veggie!
Is it a science fruit or a science vegetable? Students enjoyed learning how scientists classify fruits and vegetables in our Mystery Science lesson today. Thanks to everyone who signed up and sent fruits and veggies in for this lesson!
We have been busy with 4K and high school reading buddies, and Mystery Science!
A HUGE thank you to Vintage Garden Studio for donating flowers for us to dissect! They were gorgeous and we hated to ruin them, but it was so interesting! We found the sticky stigmas and stamens along with lots of other interesting things. Thank you, again! ๐
In science, we are learning about the life cycles of plants, pollinators, and honey bees! We had our bees (pipe cleaners) pollinate different flowers (cinnamon & cornmeal). Ask your child what a plant needs to make seeds!
Third graders dressed up as their favorite book characters yesterday! This afternoon they celebrated being done with state testing by sharing their talents, freeze dancing, doing a bubble gum blowing contest, and free choice center time.
We had a busy morning of state testing and weโre so excited to see the eclipse. Unfortunately, itโs cloudy and raining. ๐๐ผWe still had fun though!
3rd graders enjoyed reading with high schoolers this sunny afternoon!
Third graders enjoyed Read Across America week by reading with 6th grade, and DEAR (Drop Everything And Read!)
Fraction Fun!
Third graders enjoyed having some high school students come and read folktales with them.
Mr. Fullerโs Intro to Engineering class came over and shared the puzzles they designed and made. We had a blast!
Here are some pictures from inside the star lab, during our library time. We learned so much, and it went perfectly with what we have been reading in ELA. Thank you Ms. Davis, you are out of this world! ๐ โญ๏ธ ๐ช โ๏ธ
