The majority of our children at the Hope Center lack a father or father figure in their lives when they first come to us.

There is no one more loving and compassionate of a father than this man right here. He loves and protects these babies fiercely like they’re his own.

Thank you for allowing us to show the true love of our Heavenly Father to these children! You are a part of the eternal impact on the lives of these children!!

Thank you for your prayers!! Daniel is doing much better this morning! Doctors are planning to remove the intubation tube and hopefully move him to a regular room instead of ICU!! This is huge! He was literally on death”s doorstep!

URGENT PRAYER REQUEST!! If you have been on the team, or kept up with us over the past five years, you have probably heard us mention our administrator, Erika. Her husband, Daniel, is currently in ICU and needs your prayers. This is a very serious situation. A grave situation. So please, stop what you’re doing and pray for him right now.

Thank you all so much for praying!! Jesus has heard our prayers! Please pray for the next steps we must take with this young lady-that the Lord would bring healing in her life, and wisdom for us and our team as we move forward.

We’ve seen justice fall on two fathers this past week. There are no words to describe how awful these two separate cases were and how badly they affected the children that are now in our care.

I am thankful that our children did not have to testify in front of either of the fathers. We prayed specifically that they wouldn’t be traumatized any further, and God heard our prayers.

On the flip side, I pray these children can come to see God as a loving father who will always defend them and longs to heal their broken hearts. Please pray with us for them. It’s been a tough week…

Very soon we will be receiving two new little boys. Please be in prayer for them as they transition to living at the Hope Center. Their story, like so many of our other children, is hard to comprehend. But, we serve a mighty God who loves them and longs to see them healthy, whole, and healed.

These situations often don't end this way, so we are grateful for your prayers. It appears that this was more of an elaborate "prodigal child" situation than anything nefarious, but it didn't change the fear and concern felt by us or her sisters. All in all, we are just thankful she is home and safe.

PRAYERS DESPERATELY NEEDED!!

Yesterday we received news that one of our former BHC kids had gone missing. She was on her way home from school when she texted her sister and said she thought a black car was following her. That was 9:45 AM. At 9:46 AM her phone went off and has not been turned on since. We have no other information at this time, but please pray for a safe and speedy return home. She is near and dear to us and this hurts.

Yesterday we had to take one of our MAPs workers (volunteers) to the airport to make some changes to a flight (she's staying longer!! YAY!!). While speaking to the agent from the airlines, she noticed my Hope Center T-shirt and said, "Are you with the Bolivian Hope Center?" When I told her I was, she said, "I used to live there! Without the Hope Center I would probably be on the street. Now I have a good job, and a good relationship with the Lord. Thank you for being there and doing what you do!!" We were blown away and want to thank everyone for all of their support over the years. YOU have made an eternal impact!!

Those of you who know us know that it is very rare that we ask for special funds. This is one of those rare times. Our old BHC van has just about bit the bullet. While it served its purpose, it was a converted Chinese brand that had to be modified for driving here (the steering wheel was on the wrong side!) and because of that, it has required constant maintenance.

So now it is time to replace it with something that will serve our needs better. This is a Toyota Bufalo and not only is it bigger, it is more reliable but if it does need repairs, parts are readily available and less expensive. The love of God has broken down walls of unforgiveness, hurt, bitterness, sadness, loneliness, unworthiness, anger, and so much more.

When our kids come to us, their lives are full of so much hurt.

But God- He saw fit to bring them to us so that we could show and share the love of Christ with them. There is no magic wand, no pill or potion that we can give them. It is the very love of Christ that transforms their lives and breaks through the worst hurt imaginable.

Who can you choose to love today, even when they are at their worst? Christ’s love should compel us to love those who society has thrown away or deemed unlovable.... That’s who our kids were.

Thank you for supporting us, that we might continue to share the love of God with these precious children so they will never doubt the value they have in Him!! ❤️❤️

A special prayer request. Three of our children from the same family whose mother died. The children were informed. Please pray for these children and for the staff at the BHC as God helps us work through this tough situation!

I Trust HIM! Through out History we have seen many very troubling times. Also many times, families, and individuals have to go through troubling times but on a more personal level. Many years ago, as brand new Christians we lived through a "troubling time", when our twins died a week apart, and at the same time, we lost our home because of financial stress. All we could do was TRUST HIM. Today, we as a global family are going through more 'troubling times". What can we do? TRUST HIM! JESUS! He is Faithful and we can rest in His faithfulness!! There are no magic words, no secret prayers! WHO we have in our lives makes the difference!! He is not a Genie, He is GOD, our Creator, our Comforter, our Strength, our Peace, Our Savior, The God who see me, a Friend who sticks closer than a brother, our Healer, our Refuge, our Strong Tower. TRUST HIM. We use the common sense He gave us to make common sense decisions, But we can TRUST Him!

The BHC is on Lockdown, no one going in or out. Our kids are healthy and we continue to TRUST HIM! We trust Him to continue to touch the lives of our children, we trust Him to continue to provide for the needs of the BHC through you! It is His chosen way. Please remember to pray for the BHC, Pray and give so we are able to sustain the BHC even through these "troubling times" OUR GOD REIGNS! TRUST HIM! Lord Jesus: Bless, protect and heal our personal family of supporters, Our extended families, the family of God and use these "troubling times" to draw a world to You!
