Continuing education is very critical for all our officers. We travel all over the state to assist us in maintaining a top tier police department.

Safety is our #1 priority. Our department is so very proud of all our officers. They give 100 percent effort to that goal of providing a safe learning experience. Our officers are all game changers.

Adding to our list of game changers. We are so proud of the job our officers did handling the traffic change the took place at the middle school campus.

Every officer who took part in our recent traffic direction relocation is a game changer. This major project was handled in a manner that they made look easy. We know that was not the case. Thank you Officers.

Recently our district made a change in the traffic pattern at our middle school campus.
Each one of officers took part in this huge undertaking. The officers worked in the cold and were diligent in providing safe clear directions to all involved. In Chief's opinion our officers are all game changers.

We Wanted to spot light our middle school campus officer.

Officer R.L. Phillips is in her 3rd year with the Shepherd ISD Police Department. Prior to working for us she was with another school district. Thus bringing to the community a wealth of experience. Officer Phillips has a great relationship with our kids and staff.

Our Intermediate Campus is well protected by E.H. Woodard.
Officer Woodard is starting his 2nd year with us. Prior to that he was with the Houston Police Department for 30 years. We are extremely pleased he came out of retirement to help keep us safe. Please take time to say hello should you see Officer Woodard.

It is a new week and a new officer. I hope everyone will join in welcoming Officer W.S. Marks to our Shepherd ISD Police Department. He will be posted at the Primary Campus. If you happen to see him please take time to say hi.

We wanted to share with our Pirate family that this will be Officer C.E. Headley's
last week with our S.I.S.D. Police Department. We ask you to join us in wishing Officer Headley all the best as he moves forward with his new position with the precinct 2 Constable's office. We know he will be as valuable to them as he has been to us.

As our Nation celebrates "National Police Week" I hope if you see one of our officers you will take time to say hello and let them know you support their efforts in keeping the peace.
