I love listening to the cacophony of purrs when they're all nursing.
Unfortunately one of the kittens passed in the middle of the night last week. But the other six are doing great and getting bigger every day.
Emma and the kittens are all doing fine, though Emma is a bit overwhelmed having seven kittens in her first litter. I've been helping her by bottle feeding the kittens a few times a day and helping them to all latch on to Mom so they aren't fighting for milk.
Emma had 7 beautiful kittens. I can't quite tell for sure if there is another kitten left or not so I will stay up for another hour just to be sure.
She is a very protective Mama. Anytime another cat makes too much noise. She starts growling and looking around to make sure her kittens are safe. I just keep petting her and softly telling her that they are safe and that she is a good mama.
I think Emma is going to have her first litter tonight as she is nesting and her sister is staying by her side. I will keep you all posted.
Now that I can post without issue again here is a video of our youngest kittens walking at the park
Let's try this again. Facebook thinks that they have for sure fixed my ability to post this time so if you are able to see this post please reply so I know it is working again. Thank you.
I hope all the mothers out there had a happy and wonderful Mothers Day. From the mothers at New Hope RagaMuffins!
The kittens are now mobile! They are now walking. I am live streaming them Mon to Wed and Friday on my youtube channel if you want to see more. There are streams starting from right after they were born. And now that they are mobile they are no longer limited to just the birthing box and have the whole nursery to walk around in! The Youtube link is here: https://www.youtube.com/
One very happy Mama and Grandma looking over the kittens.
I finally got Molly to stop Kitnapping Mochi's kittens after convincing Mochi that the larger box was a suitable nest and so Molly brought the kittens a toy so they would have something to play with. Not that they can see it or even know it was there. It is the thought that counts.
Mochi had her first litter of kittens last night. She had two healthy kittens, they both appear at this point to be boys. She is such a proud mama that after she had her first kitten I had to get her to calm down and lay with the kitten because she wanted to make sure I saw what she had made and kept climbing out of her birthing den to be next to me and make sure I was paying attention to both her and her first kitten.
Molly is making me a little sad that I had to fix her though because she has repeatedly KITnapped one of the kittens and it has had to be brought back to the nursery by either me or Mochi.
I found this poor little baby on Saturday in my back yard scarfing down the bird food that I put out to attract birds to the back porch for my kitties to watch. As soon as I saw this I put out some kitten food for her and contacted the local no kill shelter and got a trap from them. I caught last night and I brought her in this morning. They have foster families that specialize in socializing feral kittens like her so that she can have a much better life with a family who will care for her.
I also have some 15 month old boys available for adoption, The white boy is Niko along with his brother Max. Both are very sweet boys but Niko is always following me around and eager for attention. Max doesn't always follow me but when he wants some attention he will give a me a few soft licks to let me know he wants my attention. While he does lick he only does it a few times so it never gets irritating tot he skin.
I do have a few boys available for adoption right now. The first one I will mention is Bootsie. He is 2 years old and is a total snuggle bug who is almost always at my side and sleeps next to my pillow almost every night. He loves his food and will do almost anything for a treat. Because of his age I would like him to go to someone here in Tucson so that I could bring him over and help him get used to his new home so that his transition will be much faster and significantly less stressful for him. Here is a video of Bootsie walking through Home Depot. He usually does really well walking around on his leash though sometimes he will need a few minutes to build up his confidence after we arrive somewhere before he is ready to go check everything out.
Because of Molly's age she has retired as the risk of complications gets much higher after reaching 5 years old. I do have two of her daughters from her last litter that I am keeping to be the new Queens of New Hope RagaMuffins. Here both of them are at Petco with Mochi on the right and Emma on the left and yes Emma does have odd colored eyes.
I hope everyone has been doing well. I am sorry for being quiet for so long but right after my last post I had a relapse of the pain that made me unable to walk without excruciating pain. I have finally managed to get it under control under a different doctor and I will be breeding and selling RagaMuffins again.
The kittens are streaming again today. They are now scooting around and it won't be long before they start walking.

I hope everyone is doing well. My back is doing much better and I have another procedure scheduled in two weeks to help it even more.
Molly is pregnant and we are expecting her to have the kittens around the middle of October. Here is a picture of Molly with Blessed Hope Quin. I hope that some of the kittens get his odd eye color.
While walking Bootsie at Petco he found something that looked a lot like a cat bed and decided that is what it is. Bootsie is available for adoption.
I took Bootsie with me to Petco today and when I told him he could pick out one toy, this isn't what I meant. He is available for adoption. This little fireball loves to play but he also loves to be held and snuggled. And if you forget to give him his daily required amount of snuggles he will follow you around and meow at you to let you know.
And here is part two of the last video with Eleven's brother Bootsie, who is still available for adoption, helping to groom him dry.
Eleven is going home tomorrow so he got a bath today and he is unhappily drying himself off before his brother joins to help.
