The Retreat✨

✨🍀💫
Drink water from the spring where horses
drink. The horse will never drink bad water. Lay your bed where the cat sleeps. Eat the fruit that has been touched by a worm. Boldly pick the mushroom on which the insects sit. Plant the tree where the mole digs. Build your house where the snake sits to warm itself. Dig your fountain where the birds hide from the heat. Go to sleep and wake up at the same time with the birds – you will reap all of the days' golden grains. Eat more green – you will have strong legs and a resistant heart, like the beings of the forest. Swim often and you will feel on earth like the fish in the water. Look at the sky as often as possible and your thoughts will become light and clear. Be quiet a lot, speak little – and silence will come in your heart, and your spirit will be calm and full of peace.”
Saint Seraphim of Sarov
Nature is talking to you, are you listening?

Cikitsa - Traitement

The arrival of Spring with the Spring equinox honored as Ostara or Eostre, is one of the eight major annual sabbats
- a festival of fertility, rebirth, renewal, balance and awakening.

After the winter comes to an end, it is time for the hopes of Imbolc to progress towards action mode.
Marking the first day of the season, the Spring equinox, (also known as the March equinox or Vernal equinox) occurs on Saturday, the 20th of March.
Around the 20th or 21st of March on our journey through the wheel of the year, the Earth returns to a place of perfect balance, in alignment with the Sun on the Earth’s celestial equator.
This happens just twice a year on the Spring/Vernal and Autumnal equinoxes.
With the Spring equinox, the Sun crosses the equator from South to North, bringing warmth and activities back to the Northern Hemisphere, and plunging the Southern Hemisphere into a state of hibernation with the coldness of winter. Just like the opposite happens on 22nd or 23rd of September, when the Sun crosses back from South to North, marking the beginning of Autumn in the Northern Hemisphere, and the beginning of Spring in the Southern sphere of the planet.

The major significance of this day of equinox
is, the two fundamental forces of nature which play within us as Masculine and Feminine, or Ida and Pingala, or Shiva and Shakti are on an even keel. Which essentially means all influences upon the planet are at equilibrium. The equinox is considered a day when one can be free of their psychological prejudice.
During this time, the veil between the physical (body and mind) and the higher dimensions gets thinner, which makes the realms beyond, easier to access.
We are more receptive to the higher energy.
So stay aware of yourself and the Cosmos,
and allow your mind to accept the Divine grace.

Look around and see, a sense of freshness is already in the air..
The illuminating Spring season brings
a joyful time of coming alive, with new beginnings.
It is also the start of a new zodiac year when the Sun enters the fire sign of Aries.
With the Spring equinox, nature is waking up in accord with the warmth of the Sun and making her way to blossom again...
It is the celebration of the Spring Maiden and the Horned God, who represents the characteristics of this dawn.
Life on the planet is inspired to make a new start. The expansive energy of the season is inspiring, hopeful, bright and exuberant.
It is a wonderful time to try out new things like picking up a new hobby, experimenting with your creativity, making solid plans about a goal that you really want to accomplish,
or simply getting out of your comfort zone by practicing being aware of your awareness.
Be open to the higher possibilities.
Be mindful of your calling.

The luminous Spring equinox brings us clarity on what we must seed in order to harvest what we are seeking, in the months ahead.
It brings us a time to balance, and connect with the refreshing energy of growth, abundance and joy.
The equinox brings to our notice that we, as cosmic beings are related to the larger dimension of nature, and we must be in sync with it's rhythm to live in harmony.
We are encouraged to take our cues from Mother Nature and imbibe the sense of balance and enthusiasm in our lives.
We are encouraged to stay unprejudiced, set fresh intentions and consciously work towards our goals for steady progress.
It's a time for transformation;
A time to welcome possibilities for a flourishing new beginning, just the same way the nature outdoors is prospering with great vitality.

As we welcome the Spring equinox,
let us welcome the Sunshine to bring warmth to our innermost hearts,
The equilibrium between day and night of the equinox bring a sense of balance within us.
Like the bountiful flowers and fresh crops blooming on the lap of Mother Earth, may hopefulness and growth blossom in our lives; May the vibrant energy of the glorious season of Spring bring newness, radiance, abundance and joy.

Blessed Spring Equinox.
Happy Ostara!
~ The Wise Owl.
