With a heart full with gratitude, I am eagerly awaiting the moment when I step into the as an artist-in-Residence for the month of September. The countdown to September has become a countdown to creativity, a countdown to community, and a countdown to the magic that can only arise from such an immersive artistic experience.
One of the aspects I am most eagerly looking forward to is the chance to interact with fellow artists from various disciplines. For the upcoming residency promises to be a period of artistic growth, exploration, and connection.
The Cedarburg Cultural Center, steeped in history and nestled in the heart of a vibrant artistic community, is soon to become my inspiration ❤️…

Last year Rooted In Christ art workshop! .shabiba Annual Christian Conference in August 26th-29th 2022. We had such a wonderful time sharing Bible verses. Participants took home one-of-a-kind artworks.

On March 25th, 2023, Celebrating Assyrian New Year 6773 Art Workshop for the first time took place At OI museum now is . This workshop brought together art, history, and culture heritage in a unique and inspiring way.
This workshop provided participants with an opportunity to connect with their Assyrian roots and explore the rich history of our ancestors.

Designed Assyrian-themed Sketches and patterns that became as a creative canvas for more than 50 participants. They eagerly engaged in the artistic process, used vibrant colors and their own personal reflections, immersing themselves in ancient Assyrian Culture and its significant contributions to human history.

The collaboration between ISAC and ANCI played a crucial role in making this event a success which provided environment where attendees could explore their heritage.
Participants artwork reflected a connection to their roots, Assyrian traditions that have shaped their identity and a reminder of the resilience and enduring spirit of Assyrian people throughout the centuries. While honoring ancient cultures and leaving a lasting impact on their understanding of their roots.

Excited to share my recent art workshop called Mommy & Me hosted by on April 29th!
Painted pots and planting, which brought families together to create beautiful art project.
Participants were given terracotta pots to paint with acrylic paint, allowing them to express their creativity and personalize their pots. The painted pots became one-of-a-kind artwork that families could take home and display proudly.
After painting the pots, the participants then had the opportunity to plant sweet little pansies in them, which were generously donated by . The children were able to learn about the process of planting and caring for flowers, while also getting their hands a little dirty.
The families bonding over their shared love of art and gardening.
The Cedarburg Cultural Center is committed to providing unique and enriching experiences for the community, and this workshop was no exception. Many thanks to Heyden’s Gardens for their generous contribution to this art workshop!

Such a wonderful event at The Oriental Institue of the University of Chicago, on Saturday, January 21st, 2023 connecting with my ancestor and making Mesopotamian Cylinder Seals!
They used carved stone cylinders to make an impression in a wet clay.
