Scott Millington Music
Singer/Songwriter/Multi instrumentalist and Grievous Angel- Lancaster
Morning, all.
A couple of things happening…
I’m very chuffed to have been invited on to Beyond Radio this Saturday morning. I’m on Luke Stutchbury’s show between 11 and 12, and will be chatting and playing two of my songs. I hope you’ll be able to tune in live- there will be a ‘listen again’ option if you miss it.
Lancaster Music Festival-
Saturday 14th I’ll be dancing with RetroSpective at Lancaster Castle at 1:40pm.
Sunday 15th I’ll be performing with my band Cape Jasmine at Atticus Bookshop at 4pm. We’re revisiting our history songs. Atticus is a very intimate space, get there early to bag a seat. Hopefully see you there!
Morning!
A wee reminder - I will be performing with my musical co-conspirator Eleanor Levin as Cape Jasmine in this year’s Lancaster Music Festival at Atticus bookshop, Sunday 16th October at 2pm.
It’s a show based in a fictional place, with elements of folk, jazz and a bit of disco(!); some brand new songs and some reimagined older songs. We’re rather excited about it, and we’d love to see you there.

Morning! I hope you’re all well?

When you forget to take your neatly planned set list to the gig and have to hastily scribble it all out again after the soundcheck…
Thank you to everyone involved in the Lancaster University Library Festival, and for having me back to perform this year.
Video from last night is being released on YouTube later today. (Link in comments)

This Thursday, folks!
This weeks tremendous line up!
Scott Millington -
Known for playing with glorious bands “Grievous Angels” and “Ruby In The Dust” Last year released “Waymarks” packed with stunning song writing. I’m totally mesmerised by lyrics and melody on “Tree in the Winter” which had me welling up on the bus today. https://open.spotify.com/track/6j6Q3IVDhA21ecc1ivfe0g?si=F9id4dqWR4uc7m6cqArRWA
Benni Beard-
Writing since 2003 Benni’s tunes have been played out on the BBC as well as New Zealand radio. He has a familiar cheeky 90’s indi tone that fun and frolics with surf energy and vibrato. I love the hooks on the chorus “In The Afternoon” and the descriptions of loving someone’s silent nature’s in “physical Articulate”

Molly Warburton-
is Lancaster’s very own indi -pop sensation! Continually championed by BBC introducing she plays gigs up and down the country including festivals in both the UK and internationally. Molly. has a beautifully light tone that resonates with flute like quality. Her tracks cross genres through dance, indi and pop. I could picture her tune “grow” going down well at an Ibiza beach bar
