Talking Ultraman Universe on Sunday in San Diego at the San Diego Comic Con
One day I picked up a book. It was titled A Contract With God by a Will Eisner. It just mesmerized me. It was a first of its kind. A GRAPHIC NOVEL by a cartoonist. It reminded so much of the Manga my grandmother and I pored through from Japans postwar period. The time of the aftermath of World War 2 on a nation in defeat.
Eisners stories of tenement life in the poorest section of the Lower East Side of Manhattan just took my breath away. This year I will be presenting an award at the Eisner awards at the San Diego Comic Con and I am so honored and humbled by all the great artists and story tellers I will be in company with. To top it off I am partnered with the wonderful actress Janeisha Adams-Ginyard who I am sure will carry me through the night.
I will also be fortunate to be on the panel of the Ultraman Universe on Sunday at the San Diego Comic Con representing Ultraman Rising. Very exciting time for me.
Ultraman Rising
Christopher Sean (Ultraman) and I (Dr Onda) will be appearing at Terrificon in Connecticut on August 16 to 18.
This will be a rare moment when the both of us will be together.
See you there

What happens when you put two iconic characters together. Some people know me as Mr Wu. Some people know me as Storm Shadow.

DR ONDA
A once in a lifetime experience for me.
My Aloha and Love to the Cast and Crew who have been so
nurturing and supportive.
Reunited. The three of us together.
Warriors of a once in a lifetime consortium of singers, dancers, charlatans, clowns, grifters, and lovers of life.
We experienced one of the greatest moments of modern expression. We of the Deadwood.
Back together again. Sharing our love with the people we told tales about. Smelling and tasting that same air and dirt.
Hallelujah! We have come back to our home.
Went to get a haircut in Deadwood and they explained to me politely what my problem was.
Some new Art work for my appearance at the Garden State Comic Fest. In Morristown, New Jersey on June 22 and 23.
The Mr Wu pooh coming at you.

In my continuing collaboration with the artist Jamie Sullivan he has come up with this beautiful print. Jamie will make this available for Robo Toy Fest on June 9 at the Burbank Marriott.
He will make special large prints which you can have Gregg Berger, the original voice of Spirit, and I , Storm Shadow, sign for you. Gregg and I will have special 8x10 prints at our table.
Gregg has agreed to travel with me to the Garden State Comic Fest in New Jersey, the Fanboy Expo in Orlando, and the Chattanooga Comic Con. We will bring these exclusive fan art to autograph for Joe fans.
I gratefully thank the promoters who did want Storm Shadow at their event this year. Lets make it a great one.
See you there.
In 2 weeks, June 13 to 15, my good buddy W Earl Brown (Dan Dority) and I will head off to Deadwood, South Dakota to celebrate Wild Bill Days at Mr Wu's Casino. We will be joined by Jewel, the wonderful Geri Jewell.
We going to have a damn good time. BBQ and bands. And a lot of
telling tall tales. I hope you will join us.
Storm Shadow vs Spirit and Freedom
Artist Jamie Sullivan has created this wonderful piece of art for Gregg Berger, who played Spirit, and me as Storm Shadow.
This is just the line art and will be sent off to be colored.
Gregg and I will be appearing at Robo Toy Fest on June 9th at the Burbank Marriott. This will be available for this event.
We will then travel to Garden State Comic Fest in New Jersey and to Fanboy Expo Florida representing a GI Joe reunion.
We will hopefully end up back in LA for a big Convention with new art by artist and friend Jamie Sullivan
I had to visit the Oklahoma City Memorial of the Bombing at the Murrah building of 1995. To pay my respects.
I go to Comic Cons not so people can get to meet me but for me to learn about the people and their culture. The amazingness of this country.
Its not all about fame and fortune but the struggle we do to keep our country strong.
