Born out of jams in the barrel aging basement of their favourite local brew cafe during breaks from other musical projects (The Crooked Fiddle Band, Two Fat Bastards), the Flat Rock Boys are an old-timey, folky, bluegrassy collaboration between:
Mark 'The Crawdad' Stevens ----- vocals, mountain dulcimer, double bass
Antonio 'Panda' Filando, 'the Django of Mando' ----- mandolin, double bass, vocals
Gordon 'Longshanks' Wallace ----- guitar, vocals, clawhammer banjo
Expect trad and not-so-trad tunes rallying around the high lonesomeness of the mountain dulcimer and bound together by the camaraderie of longtime friends.
