Took a lil self trip a few weeks ago to Burlington and I absolutely fell in love! The waterfront was magical and had some much needed zen & relaxation. I’ve been a little quiet on here recently but hoping to find and share more moments this summer. Life sure does get in the way of mental clarity sometimes, but moments like these pull it all back into perspective 🤍

Alongside the awe-inspiring jumpers was the lively crowd, filled with cheers, gasps, and the melodious ring of cowbells. Both the skiers and the crowd brought such amazing energy to this event!

I'm back home for Thanksgiving, and my parents and I made a pit stop at our favorite bakery, , located in the northern VA Piedmont. We grabbed a delicious pie and some treats for the week. Highly recommend it if you're in the area! Absolutely loved the cozy seating area adorned with cookbooks and rolling pins. 🥧

This is the first of my many fall photos! I’ll be posting much more than usual the next few weeks which I hope is okay! Excited to share them all! Although this week’s light wasn’t my preferred photographic light (lots of blue skies v moody fog/clouds), it challenged me to edit in a little different style, which I’m actually enjoying!

Leading up to this Fall, I've come to a realization. I've been prioritizing Instagram's portrait format over what truly suits the composition, whether it's landscape or portrait. Expect more landscape photos in the future, even if they don't dominate my Instagram feed. It's silly how I've unconsciously been shooting for an app rather than my personal compositional preference!
