The group is set to continue the principles and ideals of Children's Lab. PALIHAN (Capability Building) – programme that designed to hone the knowledge, skills and behaviours on human rights, in general, and specifically children and women’s rights. The programme will provide learning opportunities in developing ones creativity through the use of performing (theatre, puppetry and dance), non-perfo
rming (visual, poetry and story-telling) and multi-media (photography, video and graphics design) arts. It will enhance inner self through the facilitation of various self – learning exercises and life – skills education within the context of rights principles. TUKLASAN (Research and Development) – programme that will undertake independent research on social trends, needs and issues relevant to social change and organizational development. Provide a non-threatening "meeting place" for discussion and resolution of difficult community issues. Facilitate the building of community consensus on issues and/or shared actions. Promote broader and deeper community understanding on social development issues which affect certain groups or the general quality of community life. UGNAYAN (Advocacy and Networking) – programme that facilitate and support positive change in partnership with community groups and individuals. Also, it provides community focal point for mobilizing groups most affected by issues into working and problem solving partnerships, information networks and action coalitions. Serve as a catalyst for change. Advance the interests of marginalized sectors of the community by advocating specific policy positions to government. PASIKLABAN (Events Management and Mobilization) – programme that facilitate the management of events, congress, conferences, festival, ceremony or conventions. It may or can include budgeting, establishing dates, selecting and reserving the event site, acquiring permits, coordinating transportation, developing a theme or motif for the event, arranging for speakers / facilitators, coordinating location support (such as electricity and other utilities), arranging decor, event support and security, catering, emergency plans, aid stations, and cleanup. Event management is the application of project management to this process.
