Úgy gondoltam, hogy mivel beköszöntött a rossz idő, sorba veszem a megfázós olajokat, majd a téli illatokat, ízeket.
Egyértelműen adódik, hogy az első ilyen illóolaj a Thieves.
Ez az olaj tulajdonképpen fertőtleníti a levegőt. Ősztől tavaszig minden nap porlasztom, így megakadályozzuk egymás megfertőzését. Iskolák, óvódák kedvence is. Ráadásul a fahéj-szegfűszeg-rozmaring illat jól is esik a hűvös estéken. Teszem a teába, sőt hétvégén mézbe keverve banánt sütök vele, vagy éppen a baracklekvárt ízesítettem vele befőzéskor. Érdemes talpba masszírozni is, kicsit támogatva az immunrendszert.
Migrén esetén egy csepp hüvelykujjra, felnyomjuk a szájpadlásra, másodpercek alatt hat.
Fogfájásra is jó csíp, de lezsibbasztja a fogat, megváltás tud lenni. Fülfájás esetén, aki még nem használt olajat, annak kívülre a fül elé kenve, aki már ismeri az olajokat, egy csepp vattára és ezt lehet a fülbe helyezni. Elsőre kicsit kellemetlen, gyermekeknek éjszakára javasuljok, de a környezetünkben a fülfájós gyerekek gondja megoldódott vele. (érdemes a talpon vitaflex pontra is kipróbálni)
Erről az olajról tudni érdemes, hogy olyan gyógynövényecept alapján készült, amit a tolvajok használtak a pestis idején, hogy ne kapják el a betegséget a rablások során. Kell ennél biztosabb recept?

Here’s some good info on YL and why we choose only the best for our family. Even if an oil is labelled organic, it still can have organic pesticides in it. Our oils have zero pesticides. Zero w**d killers. I’ve spent a week at a farm, I’ve met the farm managers. YL is the real deal.

1. “Their oils are just as good” // Good for what? Tearing up the planet with unsustainable farming practices? Exploiting the natural treasures of communities around the world? Yep... that’s what they are good for... please don’t be fooled by placebo and side by side marketing. Sooooo lame.

2. “YL oils are too expensive” // Y’all. This is so insane to me. We have oils that are $5. We have oils that are $200. Our oils are priced based on what it takes to cultivate and extract the precious chemical constituents, to work with local communities and pay them good wages, and to keep the planet healthy and thriving.

➡️ Did you know that it costs $12,000 to HAND W**D an acre of lavender versus $60 to treat it with pesticides? We get what we pay for ❤️
➡️ Did you know that there is 2x the demand for lavender oil in the world than supply of actual lavender plant. That means *at least half* of all lavender on this planet was NEVER EVEN A PLANT. Completely SYNTHETIC, made in a lab, sold as all natural and pure and yada yada yada. 🙄
➡️ Did you know that it takes Cypress 24 hours in the distiller to release its 280 chemical constituents? If you distill for 20 hours, you get 20 constituents. 26 hours? Zero constituents. And guess what? Most Cypress oil on the market is distilled for 3.5 hours. 😲
➡️ With these cheap knock-offs sold on everywhere, people are getting so much less than thy actually pay for... and oils that have zero healing or therapeutic properties are truly the best way to WASTE YOUR MONEY. Flush it down the freaking toilet. How’s that for expensive?

3. “The oils are more expensive because this is an MLM..” // Yikes. This one is a lot to unpack.. but let’s try, shall we?
➡️ In an MLM like Young Living, people are compensated for word of mouth advertising. They receive percentages of orders as they are kind of like wholesalers bringing goods to the public.
➡️ Non-MLM companies pay out a massive advertising and marketing budget to a company who will execute, and to networks/internet platforms/etc who charge HUGE premiums to put the info out there in canned and inauthentic ways.
➡️ This money is paid to corporations instead of the families of their product users.
➡️ The pot of money is just about the same, however it’s used differently. With this company, you are supporting the families you KNOW who are working to provide education, support and customer service to pay their mortgage, pay off debt, buy healthy food for their kids, help a family in need...instead of the padding the thickly-lined pockets of some faceless advertising agency, or the CEO of Amazon/Whole Foods, Facebook, etc. Your choice.
➡️ Other companies are ONLY about their bottom line... not the quality, not the standards, not the longevity and sustainability. So what are you actually buying? And what are you actually supporting with your hard-earned money? Yikes.

Companies Comparing Themselves to YL

There has been a lot of chatter & numerous FB ads lately for oil companies comparing themselves to YL.

Friends, we have to stop and ask ourselves where are these companies getting their oils. Where are their farms or are the oils synthetic, lab created? Are chemicals introduced to the plants at any time? If they are distilling raw material, what type of machinery is being used, is it surgical grade stainless steel so no metals are leeched during the distillation process?

Gary Young worked for over 30 years, learning about the plants & their constituents, how to distill raw plant material to extract the highest yield of essential oils while preserving the vital constituents that are so important to us, the end user.

Did you know Gary actually climbed into a distiller while it was on so he could watch the process, based on his intuition that the distillation process could be improved? 😲 In case you aren’t aware, those distilleries hold 5000 pounds of raw plant material and use pressure & heat during this vital process.

I am 100% confident no one from these other companies has done that. Do you know that Gary has patented the distilleries used by YL? Are you aware that he has traveled the world, many times risking his own life, to study plants, distillation processes & people so he could glean knowledge to provide the highest quality essential oils to you & me? How many of the folks in these other companies do you think are doing that? 🤔

Are you aware that YL has set the world-wide standard for essential oils? Gary Young, once the student, became the teacher & is truly the father of modern-day distillation.

A marketing angle for some of these companies is that YL is an MLM so you & I are paying more for our products. Let’s explore this concept, because I bet you are like me & desire the most value for your money. First, why did Gary & Mary choose the Network Marketing model instead of retailing their products out of a store front. Well, they knew their oils were unlike any others on the market (remember only about 2% of oils sold are actually therapeutic & unadulterated) so who would explain the price difference for YL Frankincense at say $85 to other brands at $20. As a consumer, we wouldn’t know that YL Frank is harvested in Somalia, Yemen or Oman; that it is a resin and has to cure for several months before it can be hydrodistilled; that the YL species offer therapeutic value vs just having a pleasant aroma.

Who would educate us on the most beneficial ways to utilize our essential oils, especially in the middle of the night when our kiddos need immediate attention … certainly not the clerks in the retail store. Imagine for a minute that you don’t know what an heirloom seed is or why our food shouldn’t be exposed to harmful chemicals & you are shopping at the grocery store where you have the option to buy produce grown from heirloom seeds in a truly organic environment for a higher price than the produce that is grown commercially. Which would you choose? Most of use would buy the commercially grown produce at the lower price because we aren’t educated on the value of the heirloom, organic produce. We don’t know what we don’t know, right!

Someone has to educate, support, & provide customer service to the end consumer. In the NWM model, this is done by the person who introduces the product to you. I compare it to buying local, supporting your community, your friends & people you know. The YL MLM structure is about community, it’s about a lifestyle, people caring about people. These folks are vested in you & your family, the clerk at the store isn’t. In traditional retail models, there are expenses for advertising, marketing, payroll, shelf space. The money spent on these standard expenses are simply distributed to the people supporting, educating & providing customer service in the MLM model. So, when someone says you are paying more for your product with this biz model, that simply isn’t factual.

Friends, we have to ask the important questions & not get caught up in the hype these companies are selling. They use the right terminology, they compare themselves to YL (if they have a great product, why not allow it to speak for itself), they make unsubstantiated claims, hoping that you & I are not savvy, educated consumers. They are banking on us buying into their deceptive marketing & lies. YL has a tried & true track record over the past 25 years, they are expanding globally, and continue to bring us new & innovative products which make it simple to live a healthy, happy lifestyle. Plus, they send us a thank you check for helping our friends, family & those we care about do the same. I see that as the most Biblically based biz model in the world!

"This morning I hit my pinky nail on a cabinet, breaking the nail across my nail bed and detaching from the skin. Oh the pain! 😭 I went straight for my oils (and nail clippers).
