The Snowball Switch dance will be January 13th from 7 to 10 p.m. at the Old National Events Plaza. Dress for the dance is semi-formal. Tickets will be sold during all lunch periods in the week leading up to the event for $20.
Ready for finals? Join your peers and some of our amazing teachers here at Castle this coming Wednesday, December 13th from 6-9pm in the cafeteria for our Pancake Final Study Lock In. You will be able to get one on one and group instruction to sure up our knowledge and confidence heading into our finals this semester. We will also have games to serve as study breaks and be sure to enjoy a pancake or two as we look forward to ace-ing our finals together. Yesterday, the Castle Computer Science Team, consisting of AJ Lothamer, Caden Wright, Jack Webb, and Robby Snyder, received 1st Place at the Indiana Nextech State Programming competition at the Indiana Capitol Building, defeating more than 50 schools across the state of Indiana. Each member received a commendation from Governor Holcomb and two Indiana Senators. Congratulations to our Castle Programming Team!
Blessed with a Dress & Ties for Guys is offering attire for girls and guys including dresses, suits and accessories at no cost.
Shopping Dates: 12/9 10 am to 1 pm and 12/19 5 pm to 7 pm.
They bless teens that may be facing financial hardship with an opportunity to shop for formal attire free of charge. All teens should be able to participate and make lasting memories.

The annual Holiday Choir Concert will be held Tuesday, December 12 at 7 p.m. in the auditorium. All Castle choirs will perform sounds of the season for you to enjoy. Doors open at 6:30 with free general admission seating.

Picture retakes are THIS Wednesday, November 8 in the Commons Area. Any students wishing to re-take their pictures should bring any pictures they previously ordered on Wednesday and return them to the Inter-State Studios photographer. Students needing to take their pictures for the first time can do so on Wednesday. See Mrs. Moore in room 102 with any questions.

For the next two weeks, Student Council will be hosting a food drive to directly benefit Warrick County families for the upcoming holiday season. If you would like to help the Student Council make a difference, ask your teachers what items are needed.
We are wanting to offer a fan bus for the volleyball state finals on Saturday. However, we have a minimum number of students that must sign up before we can offer the bus. If you are interested in riding the fan bus, please sign up in the office starting this morning through the end of lunch periods tomorrow. The fan bus is free but you will need to purchase a ticket for the match. The tickets will need to be purchased electronically. The bus will leave at 12 pm on Saturday.

There will be a Boys Lacrosse parent/player meeting on October 24th at 6:30 pm in the Cafeteria.
Wrestling practice begins Monday October 30th for all those not still involved in a Fall Sport. If you are still participating in a Fall Sport, come to practice after your season ends. You must have an IHSAA Physical form and online signatures completed in Final Forms. Final Forms is located on the Castle Athletics web page. You will dress in the Wrestling locker room located on the Northeast corner of the big gym by the Multi-Purpose room.

Castle High School Parents and Guardians:
Due to statewide technical difficulties logging in to the College Board testing site students were delayed in beginning the PSAT this morning. The delay was approximately one hour so regular testing rooms will finish at roughly 11:45 am. Testing rooms with accommodations will finish at roughly 1:15pm. Lunch options will be provided for students staying later.

On October 11th, all 9th through 11th grade students will be taking the PSAT exam at CHS. Therefore, on the 11th, Juniors will not attend WPCC as they are testing. Seniors will attend WPCC and SICTC (most will be in the afternoon). They have a virtual day in the morning at their “homeschool” but will attend WPCC in the afternoon.

Congratulations to Junior Ashley Kirkland for advancing to State for girls golf. She was the medalist at this weekend’s regional tournament at Country Oaks. Ashley will play this Friday and Saturday at the IHSAA State Tournament at Prairie View Golf Course.
