Reposting to celebrate a decade since curating an early 20th Century fashion exhibition at Worcestershire museum and art gallery. As Celine Dion said ‘If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together’ Jo and I were a great team and we made things happen, while researching for our book we discovered the County’s amazing unseen archive of donated costume and suggested the following summer exhibition highlight this fabulous collection. Jo and I designed and curated the show, it was a steep learning curve but really fun, 10 yrs on its still looking good!🙌🏻❤️

Went to London to see the Sargent and Fashion exhibition, also went to see Elton John’s snappy snap hoard and went for some scoops at Anya Hindmarch ice cream project (baked bean and soy sauce for me) A lady took this pic of me in the Sargent exhibition, she said she loved how the back of my dress mirrored the painting and the colours were the perfect accompaniment. How nice to be secretly captured! I loved this exhibition, it was everything I hoped and more.

Your eyes do not deceive, that is a polar bear sign and we are in the Arctic! 🥶 Follow my stories to see a not very outdoorsy girl in the most outdoorsy place! I did cry when we flew in as the landscape is mindblowing, the snow is divinely dry and sparkly in the ice desert and I’ve managed not to fall over in the most Northly town yet…just 814 miles from the North Pole! Had a lovely day yesterday, haven’t seen for a while, swipe for a golden oldie… So fun mooching with and . Tried on all the glasses and had a good reminisce with 🙌🏻❤️🙌🏻

Well, that was fun! Me and my old pal had a little idea to throw a vintage party and it was a big success! So lovely to see many old faces, hang out with friends and family, meet new people and get all nostalgic about the last almost 20 yrs👀Nice to be back in Worcester where it all began, swipe for an oldie at the opening of my 2nd shop! Since turning 40 I’ve been a bit wobbly as to what’s next but this weekend made me proud of what I’ve done so far. People’s memories of my shop were so lovely to hear, some came in clothes they bought from us a decade ago. Thank you to everyone who came, thank you for bringing the energy and fabulous stalls of treasure. Hopefully see even more of you at the next one…..

Some magical golden hour light, after a looonnnggg lunch, it’s been a right treat to get some October sunshine! All the prep is done for this Saturdays sale so I’ll be back raring to go from 4pm at Arch 27, Worcester, for a good old bargain clear out and lots of fun!

Birthday babin’ this weekend. Had some phone free fun in London with friends, eating, drinking & walking in the sunshine. Sorry I haven’t shared anything but it’s been GREAT, feeling optimistic for the next year. YEP the rumours are true, I’m back in Worcester for one night only! 4th NOVEMBER, Arch 27, 4pm til 9pm. Ginny and I are having a BIG clear out! Let’s party like it’s 2006 and buy some vintage,have a dance with Ginny, see some old faces and best of all it’s FREE ENTRY! We’ve invited some special friends to also have stalls so stay tuned for those announcements!

These wall hangings by Pauline Caulfield have stayed in my mind, I love things that play with scale, a bit of trompe l’oeil, anything fun, bold and stylish. It was the upstairs exhibition for the Andy Warhol Textiles . I would love any in my crib. Had to have a snap of my perfectly matched playing card shirt with this BIG pair of jacks! One for his nob! PS this shirt was supposed to be for sale and I’ve worn it all summer. Sometimes you’ve just got to keep it.🫣🙃

Impromptu mega edit in my stories now. I can honestly say I’d happily wear all 9 of these…if they fit me! Sizes, prices and more pieces in my stories now…..

This lunch I was presented with sums up what I thought of Cologne. 😃What a GREAT city, don’t know why I hadn’t thought about going before, especially as my Dad lived there briefly in his twenties (I now know he must have had a blast guzzling those little kolsch beers) feel a bit sad I can’t chat to him about it now. The Ludwig Art Museum is one of the best I’ve been to in the World, honestly it’s incredible. The perfect city break if you like sausages, museums, beer and perfume, book it and report back! 🙌🏻❤️🙌🏻

Check out my punnets! Went to a PYO farm yesterday, just a pit stop on a day out to get some strawberries. Forgot what a GREAT activity this is, it’s like looking for seaglass on the beach but more fruitful (😆) Finding those little jewels out in the open air feels good. We did it a lot when me and my sisters were little so there’s a warm nostalgia too. One in the tub, one in the mouth…deffo got my moneys worth😉
