The South Atlantic Society for Electrophysiology for Allied Professionals was formed to meet the needs of people working in EP Labs in the Southeast for education and information exchange. Our mission is to advance education for allied professionals such as nurses, radiation technologists, cardiovascular technologists and pharmacists in the growing field of EP.
The Annual Workshop
Our annual workshop is the primary SASEAP event. We hold the workshop each year in September at the beach so that EP Professionals can attend with their families, learn from qualified instructors, network among themselves, and talk with our sponsor vendors in a relaxing, unhurried atmosphere away from their workplaces.
The SASEAP Workshop series began in 1994 with about 85 EP professionals at the first meeting in Wilmington, NC. The next year the workshop moved to Myrtle Beach and has been held there ever since, with participants growing in number every year. This year we held our eleventh annual workshop for more than 250 people.
