Please can our group of Primary 6/7 Country Dancers be at the Volunteer Hall on Friday evening at 7.30pm. They will dance at 7.45pm, then will be able to leave with a parent.
A groupcall will go out tomorrow for those children involved. School uniform is to be worn on the night - thank you! 🤍🖤

🤩 We had over 25 kids getting their 1st taste of football with us!

🏆 Going by the smiles on their faces it will be the 1st of many.

🖤 Our club is 100% volunteer run & its success comes down to people coming forward to help.

⚽️ This may be as a coach or as a parent helper.

🥅 No previous experience is required & the club will fund all coaching courses as well as PVG.

P1/2 enjoyed a fabulous trip to Bowhill this morning. They had fun trying to capture and identify minibeasts in the long grass, but got very distracted making friends with every tiny little frog they came across! After a snack break they had a great time exploring the adventure playground. A huge thanks to Andy and Sarah at Bowhill for leading our minibeast hunt and helping to arrange our visit. Thank you to Mr Dickson for driving our minibus and powering our swings at the play park! And also to Mrs Martin and Mrs Hume for supporting us and for their photography work! 🚍 🐸🛝

Braw Lads’ Schoolchildren’s Discos 🏁

Once again the discos are free entry for all school children. A plain white wristband will be available to collect from your school office for children interested in attending. The wristband must be worn upon arrival at the disco with a parents name and emergency contact number written on to the band. Any medical issues/allergies should also be listed on the wristband but please let an adult on duty at the discos know about these too.

We were so lucky with the weather today to hold our annual sports afternoon! The children demonstrated fabulous sportsmanship in all their fun challenges today which was just lovely to see 🏆

Thank you so much to our Galashiels Academy helpers, Angus and Kyle and to all our staff, parents/families for helping to walk the children down and for their fabulous support and encouragement. Special thanks of course goes out to Mr Mooney for his amazing organisation as always and to St Margaret's RC Primary School - Galashiels for use of their playing field.

The children were also treated to some goodies from Wendy from our Glendinning Terrace Primary School - Parent Council Fundraising Committee 🌟

The B.A.N.G Summer Camp 2024 offers a unique Olympic-themed experience for families, with accessible facilities and activities for all, starting on July 4th, with a small fee due to funding changes

The B.A.N.G Summer Camp 2024 promises an Olympic-themed adventure, offering a variety of activities including sports and creative arts. It’s designed to be inclusive, with accessible facilities and sensory areas to accommodate all needs. The camp will launch on Thursday, July 4th, at the Tweedbank Outdoor Complex, and it’s noteworthy that this year, due to increased costs, there is a nominal charge of £5 per family plus a booking fee
For those interested in attending, it’s important to note that the camp will provide a free lunch of sandwiches, and attendees with specific dietary requirements are encouraged to contact the organizers in advance. 📣 PRE-SCHOOL TASTER SESSIONS📣

We are offering a Free taster session to all pre school children who will be starting Primary 1 after the summer holidays or who were born in 2019.

Session will be held on Thursday 13th June.

There will be lots of football fun for boys and girls to get involved in! Just bring along a water bottle.

A parent or guardian must stay with your child for the whole session.

Availability is limited and Must be booked prior to sessions starting
