SuperStar RA Erich Denk alongside THREE (3) very full Costco carts filled with all the goodies for yesterday's End-of-the-Year Luter Hall BBQ Extravaganza!! I teased Erich that if these groceries didn't all fit in the Subaru Outback, I would have to come back for him later! Believe it or not, everything fit (incl. Erich!) --- Hats-off to Erich and his RA Team and GHD Evan for making this such a successful event for all attendees (and we dodged some really bad weather that was in the forecast!)!!
The Faculty Fellows Team and RAs are looking forward to hosting this Friday’s BBQ!! Be sure to tell your Luter friends and we are excited for good food, fun, and a prize-drawing for gift cards from Village Tavern!! We’ll be cooking-up hot dogs, hamburgers, and black bean burgers accompanied by chips, beverage, salads, and dessert! The fun runs from 3-6pm in the courtyard between Luter and Babcock.
Dr. Wahl and Dr. Gunkel had a wonderful time at the Couch Ballpark yesterday (Notre Dame, not so much!). It was fun watching our Demon Deacons defeat the Fighting Irish 13-7 in yesterday's game and getting to see many of our famous Luter Hall Residents compete (i.e., Carter Bach, Nick DiPonzio, and Zach Seal)! Congratulations on the WIN and best of luck with a series-sweep later today!
The Faculty Fellows Team enjoyed a very special Thursday evening as we took three Luter Hall residents to "Macbeth" -- Stephen Mahoney, Jimmy Zhang, and Camilla Zanini! And so many current and former Luterites staged this classic -- Jayson Pugh, Erin Farmer, Branden Cook, and Victoria Harget!!

Macbeth Macbeth By William Shakespeare Directed by Brook Davis March 31-April 1 & 6-8 at 7:30 PM April 2 & 9 at 2:00 PM A ghost story of madness, greed, and bloodshed. Join us for a dark, cautionary tale set in a contemporary war-torn world.
Just look at the determination etched on the face of Cleo Fleming (working feverishly on the Rainbow Desk; (top pic)); and Perry Myers (with the Kitty Cat Desk (bottom pic)) thought it best to adorn her nose with a dollop of paint -- Luter Hall's Own giving it their all for last week's D.E.S.K. event (Discovering Education through Student Knowledge)!! Congratulations to all participants who helped make it a magical day for the students of Old Town Elementary School!!

On February 16th, from 8-11 PM, we will be holding a semi-formal charity ball benefiting the Million Meals Challenge. One in six North Carolina residents– including children, veterans, seniors and hard-working adults – suffer from food insecurity every day and the Million Meals Challenge wants to ease that suffering. The South Forest Charity Ball will be held in the barn, and will feature music provided by Wake Radio, as well as free food. Tickets are $3 online and $5 at the door.
