In 1947 as a student of the Bauhaus movement under Maholy Nogi, Jack Denst flourished as an iconic interior artist for decades. Today his designs can be seen at the Planet Hollywood Hotel in Las Vegas, the Showboat Casino in Atlantic City and Chicago’s Palomar Hotel to name a few.

Saturday, April 23, 1-3pm, the Blue Island Library will feature Part 2 of the Denst trilogy film "Not Your Grandma's Wallpaper." Historic wallcovering books will be available for viewing and a 'hands on" screen printing demo. Space is limited, please call for a spot 708-388-1078.
