Our team collaborated with Allsteel to launch Stride Benching back in 2010. This robust benching line also included unique storage, discrete power and data management, and integrated height adjustability. We like Stride so much, we specified it for our own studio!

Cara attended the annual MIX Design Day back in October. This year, the group of creatives gathered to explore how AI impacts creativity, human expression, and the concept of authenticity in design. We're excited start implementing more AI tools into our workflow at IDA in the new year..

It’s not easy to be novel with so many designs in the world, and then add relevant, harder yet to design within reach of the end user's budget.

We are grateful for the fertile soil of our west Michigan roots. And a design team that can hit these targets and truly cares about the end users experience, not just winning design awards.

Our Dove and Susu collections for DARRAN Furniture, have earned their place as finalists for the Interior Design Magazine's Best of Year Award! The anticipation builds as we eagerly await the awards ceremony on December 7 in NYC. Fingers crossed! 🌟

Oh Maya - We have gone back in time to 2004 and one of our very first product launches - an occasional table collection named Maya designed for Nucraft. Maya means dream and fits with our dream to launch IDA.

Amidst our work, a little magic "graced" our office a few weeks ago. Our former colleague, Grace, brought in her adorable baby and suddenly, the office felt warmer, brighter, and full of love.

Planet and Profit: Our team had the opportunity to hear from our former IDA team member, Jennifer Wammack, along with others at an event hosted by Disher. The panelists delved into the crucial intersection between planet and profit. It was wonderful to connect with industry experts and like-minded organizations on the value of integrating sustainability into business practices.

We’re throwing it back to 2016 to the launch of IRYS for Clestra. IDA collaborated with our global partners from HOK PD and Clestra on this multiyear project. We loved seeing this vision come to life.

IDA joined forces with HOK-PD to create an innovative office pod collection named IRYS for Clestra headquartered in Strasbourg, France. IRYS pods allow for quick installation of broad applications. Pods featured integrated lighting, HVAC, acoustic panels, and technology. This Red Dot Award winning product was a culmination of extensive research, design charrettes, and collaboration with a global team. The outcome was worth the effort. Stay tuned to see the final product that was launched in 2016!

Meet Kori, our Chief Administrative Officer at IDA. She's the heartbeat of our business, adored by all who work with her! While she may not be a designer by trade, she is essential to the operational side of our firm. Kori empowers our design team to design undistracted. Her expertise shines in administration, finances, HR, and even paying taxes---basically all the things that designers hate. She's the cornerstone of our smooth operations.
