P.I.E.S Protecting Indigenous Endangered Species
Ever since visiting Australia Zoo at a young age Ben has had a passion for protecting wildlife to honour the late Steve Irwin, the original Crocodile Hunter. Ben has raised money for the Yellow Footed Rock Wallaby with Wildlife Sydney and the Bilby for Save the Bilby Fund. Ben’s support worker Sharon Hindle also has a passion for protecting wildlife. In mid 2018 an idea was born...”How can we help save the environment?”. The first idea was to introduce “Paw Wizards”, the baking of gourmet dog treats which were sold for $3 per bag. The $251 raised was donated to the Dreamworld Wildlife Foundation. The lovely CEO Al Mucci personally called Ben to thank him for his hard work and invited him to a behind the scenes operation of the Wildlife Foundation. This encouraged Ben to keep striving for what he believes in and then the tshirt idea came about.
With Sharon by his side Ben’s mission is to unite the world to end extinction, reverse climate change and right for freedom of speech for everyone.
