CB Radio USA has owned an online group for some time now. It spun off from the old Yahoo Groups and moved to Groups.io who provided legacy status for Yahoo Groups who migrated. We did not spend allot of time promoting the growth of that group, since most folk make use of easy-to-use apps such as Facebook via phone, who seldom venture out onto the world wide web, unlike PC users. However, as I have known from the beginning, the best of stuff related to radio comes through PC use. Especially when it comes to using SDR hardware and software.

We changed the name of CB Radio USA at the group to Hobby Radio Groups, since we added several other radio related groups. And we have a website by that name. Furthermore, our groups do have a phone app now, and our website installs on phone as an app using Progressive Web App features in current phone browsers.

Our website also features some good deals in electronic test equipment of every kind. As well as SDR and occasionally some good deals on SDR amateur transceivers.

Our groups have the same features as Facebook groups and more. You can elect to use html if you want, and post several pictures or videos in one post, that look like web articles. So, our group members can be creative if they choose that feature. Or just use the default posting method like we have on Facebook. Our file section is more advanced since it can have topic folders for files and software uploads for such things as SDR software, or antenna software. We have always had a vision of something more for this page, however most people are stuck in the social media loop regurgitating the same old stuff around and around in the news feed loop. Also, we have had to deal with the nonsense of censorship on social media. And people's dependance upon phone apps for navigating the web, which is a narrow and limited experience.
