MIDNIGHT TAROT~ Today’s Card
THE DEVIL~ The Devil card, in many decks depicts the devil as the ancient goat-god Dionysius, shown sitting in his throne while watching over a male and female captive. In this deck he’s got that same enticing energy that draws us in to Egoic desires, materialism & over-indulgence. The Devil can represent being seduced by the temptations in the physical world.
Also it can show we are living in fear~ fear of facing our shadow self~ the fears associated with the strength we must gather to face & overcome those secrets or habits we like to keep hidden from others for fear of judgment or confrontation. Other representations~ Domination & abuse, bo***ge that keeps us caged by an overabundance of luxury, trapped in a Job that eats away at our joy & peace. It warns us that discretion should be used in personal, as well as business matters. What’s at the core of that retail therapy, continually needing to “improve” our appearance by any means, staying out late, binge drinking, overeating, constantly seeking approval or love from others, etc. ~ the list goes on & on. Consider shadow work. Go within while meditating & praying. Ask to be shown where questionable behaviors manifest from.
The Devil Card is 15 in the Major Arcana of the Tarot deck. The next Card is 16, the Tower which indicates a fall is coming! Perhaps it’s wise to heed the warnings of the Devil card to get control of what is “out of control” in your life before you have to face a downfall/Tower moment?!

A man finds a goose that was shaking with cold stuck to a pole in Montana. As he got closer he realized, wrapped up in her wings, was a tiny puppy she was shielding from the freezing temperatures. We have so much to learn from the animals. Beautiful. (Both the goose and the puppy have recovered, were adopted together, and are doing well.)
