Brave Adriaan Wildschutt nails SA record; Prudence Sekgodiso advances Adriaan Wildschutt ran a brave race as he stuck to the front of the men’s 10,000m at the Paris Olympics on Friday night, but when the kick came with 500m to go, he was unable to retaliate.

Adrian Wildschutt breaks the South African 10 000m Race Record with a 26:50:64m for position 10 in a monster Olympic Final.
His previous 10 000m South African Record stood at 26:55:54m.
