LOVE me a Sunday Brunch….

I’ve finally gone crackers 🤣🤣🤣

These were so simple to whip up and so yummy!! Who would have though that organic vegan gluten free crackers could be ssssoooo good?!???!!!!

I have a serious addiction to some expensive store bought sweet potato crackers, so I set out to recreate them. Here’s my version, and if I do say so myself they’re even better than the original😋

🍠 GF Sweet Potato, Rosemary and Orange Crackers

▪️100g whole almonds
▪️a medium sweet potato, mashed (prick with a knife a few times then bake or microwave, about 100g when mashed)
▪️25g chia seeds
▪️35g flax seeds
▪️25 g sesame seeds
▪️50g tapioca flour
▪️1 teaspoon sea salt
▪️1 teaspoon chicken or veg stock powder
▪️1 teaspoon garlic powder
▪️1 tablespoon chopped fresh rosemary or 2 drops rosemary essential oil
▪️zest of 1 orange or 10 drops wild orange essential oil
▪️2 tablespoons olive oil

1. Blend almonds in a food processor until pretty finely ground. Transfer to a bowl and combine with all other ingredients to form a sticky dough.

2. Roll dough out between 2 sheets of floured baking paper until 2-3 mm thick. You’ll need to do this in 2 or 3 batches.

3. Remove the top sheet of paper and cut the dough into squares. Transfer to a tray and spread the crackers out a little. Bake in a 170° oven for about 15 minutes or until light golden.

- 1 tsp heaped Cacao Powder of choice
- Sweetener of choice (I used maple syrup)
- Mylk of choice (I used Almond/Coconut)
- Good Fat (I used olive oil but coconut oil will work also)

Anzac Cinnamon Biscuits

To help celebrate Anzac Day, we are taking an old classic and adding a healthy dōTERRA twist.

Dry Ingredients:
½ plain flour
1 cup rolled oats
½ cup coconut, desiccated
Pinch of fine Himalayan rock salt

Wet Ingredients:
3 tablespoons macadamia nut oil, olive oil or melted butter
¼ cup rice malt syrup (or preferred sweetener)
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 drop dōTERRA Cinnamon essential oil
1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
2 tablespoons boiling water
1 teaspoon baking soda

Instructions:
• Preheat the oven to 160˚C and line a baking tray with non stick baking paper.
• Combine the dry ingredients in a mixing bowl, and make a well in the centre.
• In a small pot, gently melt the sweetener and butter together over a low heat.
• Add the apple cider vinegar and vanilla.
• Dissolve the baking soda in the 2 tablespoons of hot water along with the cinnamon essential oil, then add to the wet mixture, stirring to combine.
• Pour the wet mixture into the dry and mix till well combined.
• Use 2 tablespoons of mixture if making large biscuits, or 1 tablespoon for smaller ones, roll into a ball then pat flat into a circle on the baking tray. Leave a gap between biscuits as they expand a little while cooking.
• Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden, then remove to a wire rack to cool.

Be careful with the larger size biscuits when you transfer them straight from the oven, so they don’t break or crack. Store in an airtight container.

Cassia the oil of clarity & purity 🤎

Not only great in coffee ☕️, doTerra Cassia essential oil is very potent for clearing and purification (besides Frankincense). The warm, spicy and masculine cassia oil is often used to balance the second chakra and third chakra (solar plexus).
 
Cassia is excellent for deleting information from the subconscious mind which has a lower vibration. Cassia essential oil is in the same family as cinnamon and therefore is a “hot” oil. It’s best to dilute it with a carrier oil if you apply it topically on your second and third chakra.

Uses doTerra Cassia essential oil
* Add one drop to citrus blends or diffuse with Clove and Ginger during fall and winter.
* Combine one drop with doTERRA Fractionated Coconut Oil and massage for a warming sensation.
* Massage 1 drop Cassia oil with 10 drops doTERRA Fractionated Coconut Oil,  into the feet.
* Diffuse throughout the room for immune system support.
* Diffuse 3 drops doTerra Arborvitae and 2 drops cassia for a soothing and uplifting blend.
