Update: 2 weeks in and down another 2 pounds. A total of 7.6 pounds gone. 🎊

This week was hard. Major hard! Not gonna lie. I didn't get on the treadmill once because I got so wrapped up in everything else going on around me. My friend Darlene reminded me that I will have to make time for it. Schedule it and don't back out. I'm going to make that a priority this week to schedule in some treadmill time.

I definitely ate things that weren't on my plan this week. Cupcakes that I know weren't vegan. Meat with the family a couple times thus week. Even though the scale shows a loss, I don't feel as good. My knees ache again. I feel sluggish. And it's my own doing. I made the wrong choices.

This week is back to basics. Make the right choices each and every meal. Don't just grab what the family is having. Set the example.

So...day 1 on the treadmill. Wow, I am horrifically out of shape! I only managed 20 minutes 😱. Still, it's a start. Let's see if I can put in another 20 this evening.

I know this will get easier over time.

So the living room had a little transformation today! We bought a treadmill! Even the kids are excited! So now I can walk and jog in the house and not have to worry about bad weather or getting too hot outside! 😁

If Popeye had a blender, he'd have sung, "I'm strong to the finish cause I drink me spinach!" This morning's smoothie is baby spinach, apple, passionfruit juice, banana, and rice milk! Plus my morning's supplements of B12 and Juice Plus+!

Today is going to be a busy day. Got a visit to the chiropractor and the float spa planned. Today is a "pamper me" day, and I need it. Then I need to do my invoicing from my huge kids bling live on Wednesday.

I've been peeking at the scale cause that's what I do. But I'll post an official weekly weigh in update on Tuesday. The number is smaller though which is awesome!

I'm on a hunt for a good quality used treadmill. Hoping to spend less than $200, but I want something in good condition. I'd found one up in Marietta. The lady said it was available, and then took the listing off Marketplace. πŸ™„ So the search continues.

Starting the day off healthy! Ezekiel bread toasted and topped with avocado spread and a smoothie with banana, mango, passionfruit, and rice milk! πŸ˜‹πŸ₯‘πŸ₯­πŸŒAnd of course my Juice Plus+ supplement and a B12!

I'm trying to figure out a way to fit in some sort of exercise today. Might do a walk at home workout or something like that. I have to figure out how to fit in some sort of exercise.

Well, I really enjoyed my call with Coach Bobby from Jacked Vegans. However, I just can't afford $916 a month. So, rather than throw in the towel, I will have to do this solo. That's okay. I proved to myself in 2006 that I could do it solo. And I will again, without stumbling over a cheeseburger as a reward this time.

So, this is my new journey to health. Doing this with a vegan diet, at home workouts, and turning my health around!
