iERA Japan 🇯🇵 Rep Salman Sugimoto meets the parents of a Japanese New Muslim - Yusha Koinuma - who is now in Morocco 🇲🇦 studying Islam.

Before Islam, the atmosphere at home was always tense, and his parents' communication was minimal. However, after becoming Muslim, the family dynamics flipped 180° ↕️ Upon Yusha's return home in Japan, he warmed up to them and spoke to them regularly - as all good Muslims should do!

The parents decided to visit their son in Morocco, and after seeing for herself how Islam has had such a positive impact on her son, she decided that it must be the truth and embraced the faith - Allahu Akbar!

Yusha's father is learning more about Islam as two-thirds of his family are now Muslim and accommodate his learning. According to his father, "My son has changed a lot since he became a Muslim." May Allah guide Yusha's father - Ameen.

"Our Lord! Make us both ˹fully˺ submit to You and from our descendants a nation that will submit to You. Show us our rituals, and turn to us in grace. You are truly the Accepter of Repentance, Most Merciful." [2:128]

That’s Tadeo - five years ago, he was in the hospital for nearly a month due to a coma-inducing illness! This triggered him to search for the meaning of life and stumbled across Islam, and since then, he’d never stopped researching!

Last week, he met iERA’s Mexico Rep, Rafael Barajas (far right), and Rafael went through Islam’s fundamentals (iERA’s GORAP framework); from that simple conversation - he accepted - Allahu Akbar

So what does Tadeo do straight after his shahada?

Well, he helped the dawah team share Islam, of course. In the picture, you can see him carrying water bottles that were handed out to the non-Muslims Mexicans to initiate conversations. (p.s. the guy at the back is not a K*K member but a Catholic... can you spot him???)
