A reminder on

My small business, like so many other small businesses, is just me. It's me packing orders after bedtime, making reels while nursing, sneaking work time in 5 minute increments between school drop offs and dance classes, agonizing over finances and expenses, celebrating the smallest and biggest wins.

I am not complaining. I wouldn't have it any other way. But it's a grind. Whew. It really is. And I know that's true for so many of us.

Things are selling out! So exciting! Still have a few Adventure Packs in the shop. We call this our "diapers and beyond" bag. Sure, it carries all the stuff that babies need (and wow that's a lot of stuff) but it evolves into a laptop bag, a hiking pack, a carry on . . . Remember when we were traveling the world? 🥺

Anyway, it's gonna last forever and wears in amazingly and actually looks better than this one because this was the very first one we had made and they really got fine tuned. Love 'em!

I saw a post by a bigger brand this week that had the most hateful, unkind comments under it. Which honestly isn't that surprising but dang y'all. It's 2021. Yes love is love but also can we just center humanity? Can we just love our children and our community not in spite of who they are, but because of who they are?

Self identified dads, you are our people. Kids, all kids, you are our people. We're proud of all of you. Every last one of you.

Ok friends! Website prices are all updated. I want to thank all of you that have purchased today. And been so incredibly supportive.

It's taken a lot to get to this point and I've made my peace with this chapter closing and evolving . . . But WHEW. The love and memories feel amazing.

Now, let's sell out of these sweet babies!

After almost 7 years, it's time to take a break.

When I started Tosan, I had no idea what this would become. The POP and TOT sweatshirts were supposed to be a small thing to introduce while I waited for other products. I knew they had the potential to connect with people but never did I ever see how big they would become.

We've been on the with ! On countless blogs. We're on POP and TOT combos in at least 12 countries. And we've shipped to every state, except Alaska. (There's still time! Alaska! Come through!)

But the fact that we've been at births, at pregnancy announcements, at adoptions . . . That means the most. I've said before that if even one Dad connected with fatherhood in a different way because of us, that's the dream.

Frankly, I don't have the mental and emotional capacity to run Tosan anymore. It deserves more than I'm willing to give. And that's ok. Things run their course.

And it's not truly good bye. I've learned so much. Mistakes and triumphs. Dumb luck and hustle. I'm working on an incredibly exciting new project that I can't wait to share with you all. The inventory I get through with Tosan will fund that project, as well as clear the literal and figurative space for this new venture. Which is RAD. Like, you're gonna love it. But I need to get through what we have to move forward.

I'm putting it all on 40% sale, and some for even more.
