Some personal information about me:

I love to be in the water, mostly surfing. I recently got to try the new wave pool at UrbnSurf in Sydney before it opened. It was a fun afternoon with some of my favourite people to surf with.

I have lived in Botswana years ago. I lived in a village where I was way out of my comfort zone. I missed the western lifestyle but it built character and I wouldn't change that experience for anything.

In my late 30's I decided I should do a degree. At first I wanted to do bachelors of International Relations. When I inquired about doing this, the university told me to I should do a Masters of Business as I have the experience and wouldn't need to do bachelors. My first semester was a disaster!! But I ended with HD's!!!

About me - Lauren.

I have worked in an office most of my working life. I have done the corporate thing and worked in a small business as an operations manager running the day to day operations. I learnt more working in a small business as this required initiative, saying "that's not my job" does not apply. This business had a European and USA branch where I had to learn how those cultures work along with the bookkeeping side.

I completed my Masters of Business in 2020 majoring in Management and International Business. This taught me how to think critically, try to think ahead and the consequences of decisions - good or bad.

That is a little about me and my previous working life. I am excited to help small businesses get to that next level or help out with anything that is needed. 👩‍💻
