My writing approach to this album was simply to speak from an honest place, allowing room for vulnerability but still being lyrical. I don’t engage in superficial or pretentious lyricism for the sake of sounding lyrical, if you can’t make your real life don’t sound good on a record you don’t need to be rapping. I might make this the single 🤔
This album has been through 3 major transformations since I started working on it in 2019. Close to 100 beats/ideas, narrowed down to close to 20 recorded songs/demos and 13 tracks made the final cut… there’s so much depth to this album and I feel like these tracks embody it so perfectly.
We all got that one friend that never answers the phone and want you to pull up on em every time 😂 that’s ! Love my brother tho, glad to have him on the album as always
Album been 3 years in the making. Had the title and concept of the project decided on already in 2019.. since then there’s been so many ups and downs, so much growth. Although there are still some finishing touches being put on the album… it’s done. It’s bout that time 😤🤝 Stay tuned
