Pictured with Abenafo Baba Kamau Kambon and Mama Pam Africa at the International Locks Conference back in October of 2018. In Philadelphia, Pennsylvania only one of two occasions the I had the distinguished honor of not only meeting but talking with my elder. I remember distinctly in our conversations that he was a man of very few words and was succinct and to the point with his thoughts. So I got the point quickly in others words that Baba Kambon was a man that was always about his business. One of my regrets and missed opportunities few times I got to interact with Baba Kambon even via telephone was to never be able to have him attend the Afrakan Independence Day Celebration Ma'at Celebration to speak to the community. We did make contact but were never able to make that happen and I will have to live and in my own way make peace with that. So another mighty tree has fallen but the tone and life's example that he set with so many others that have made transition this past year in 2023 like my parents Iya Omowunmi Ogundaisi and Chief Obalumí Ogunséyé like Baba Robert Dickerson, Baba Mutulu Shakur, Warrior Attorney Alton Maddock, Brother Khufu George Gordon, Mama Nia and many others that I didn't name who have moved on and have transitioned to the Orun, the realm of the Egúngún (The Ancestors). Demonstrates to me now more than ever that his work and the work of his family and that all of there work wasn't in vain because it was done in the name of the complete liberation and sovereignty of Afrikan people which is ultimately the greatest work that they or any of us can do in restoring balance (Ma'at) to the world which is much needed and in making a much better place for our children and there after for many generations of Afrikans to come. I thank you and salute you Baba Kambon and your family for your tireless and unwavering commitment for many years on the front lines and in trenches for our people. Live life as you and a select few have lived it with both a passion but most importantly a purpose. As we will await your imminent return to this realm. Abibifahodie, Abibitumi, job well done Baba... ✊🏿✊🏿✊🏿 🔴⚫🟢

I woke up this morning and my first thoughts of the day was on my Baba (father) Chief Obalumí Ogunséyé. Today is his 83rd Bornday and as some of you know that my father made physical transition to spiritual essence back on Sunday, November 19th of this year. I miss you Pop as well as Iya and my brother Omorishanla Ajání Oláyínká more than you know. And know you are all together again. This picture of me my father and Iya Olakunle Oludina my father's spiritual goddaughter and dear friend of the family on my wedding back in May of 2019. This was a special moment for me to have my father present to see his son get married that day. I promise you Pop that in spite of all the adversity and tribulations that I have in countered I will continue to live my best life. And most importantly be happy in living it. Your legacy will be protected and will live on through me all the days of life. I know you will always be with me. As we will anxiously await and anticipate your imminent return. Till we see each other again. E'ku Odun, E'ku Ojo Ibí Happy Bornday Chief!!! Enjoy your special day. ✊🏿✊🏿✊🏿 🔴⚫🟢 🥳🍰🍨🥂🍾🎁🎈🎉🎊

28 years ago yesterday I almost remember it as if it were the exact day that it happened on Monday, October 16, 1995 on the National Mall of the Capital in Washington DC. One of the most profound and impactful events of my life The Million Man March. How the years have just flown by but the personal consistency and undying dedication to the mission of becoming a better man, a better father, a better warrior and a better all around hueman being has remained. It hasn't been easy to say the least and I've been challenged and pushed to the limit. I have seen many of those familial and others leave this physical material realm and have gone on to the realm of the Egúngún the realm of the Ancestors. I've seen many associates and friends come and go for various reasons over this time change faces during this time. And yet I still stand... Bigger, better and stronger and still on mission, still on task to BE LEGENDARY and to bring more good into the world and let none of that good be lost. It's because of events in my life like the chill fall day back in October of 1995 like the Million Man March that I still stand today more determined now than even back then to finish the next chapter of "THE STORY"... ✊🏿✊🏿✊🏿 🔴⚫🟢
