Tired of seeing dark circles around your eyes?

These dark circles can come from lack of sleep, dehydration, stress, allergies, alcohol consumption or aging or they can even be genetic.

Fortunately, you can reduce and prevent dark circles from forming under your eyes by following these simple tricks:

•Aim for 7 - 8 hours of quality sleep every night; that means winding down a couple of hours before bed.

•Elevate your head with more pillows to prevent fluid build-up around your eyes.

•Place a cold compress, such as tea bags or cucumber slices, under or over your eyes to prevent dark circles and puffiness.

•Drink about 3 - 4 liters of water a day to stay hydrated.

•Avoid drinking alcohol as it can dehydrate your skin and reduce circulation.

•Manage your stress levels with relaxing activities such as yoga, reading a book or listening to music.

•Take allergy medicine as recommended by a physician.

•Apply eye cream morning and night to keep the skin under your eyes moisturized.

TIPS TO KEEP YOUR SKIN SAFE THIS SUMMER!✨

July is Ultraviolet Safety Awareness Month and for good reason!🤍

Summer means more time outside and more chances of getting sunburned!

Protect your skin from UV radiation by following these safety tips:

•Always use a broad-spectrum sunscreen that protects you from UVA and UVB rays.

•Choose a sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher.

•Make sure your sunscreen is water-resistant so it stays on when you sweat or go swimming.

•Put sunscreen on 15 minutes before going outside; that’s how long it takes for your skin to absorb it.

•Use at least one ounce or three finger lengths of sunscreen to protect all exposed skin, including your neck, ears, feet and legs.

•If you have thin hair, apply sunscreen to your scalp or wear a hat.

•Reapply sunscreen every two hours when outside.

•It’s also good to reapply after swimming or sweating, EVEN when using water-resistant sunscreen.
