a brief summary
If you ever see an animal with tiny little specks in their fur ( that somewhat look like a grain of rice ), this is a clear indication that the animal needs help. This is 'fly strike'.
Fly Strike is a condition where flies lay eggs on an animal which then hatch and develop into maggots. The maggots can eat into the animal’s flesh and cause severe damage within a very short time. It's VERY IMPORTANT to not get them wet, & reach out to your local wildlife rehabilitator.
