What a weekend at the field trial. We didn’t place but we sure did have a ball. The rain came but it didn’t stop the fellowship by the fireplace. PTL

Always a lesson to be learned in the Woods…
Today, Ty and I got to meet Jacob and his son, Brooks, because we wanted to be courteous and greet a dad and his 2-3 yo old son. Turns out they were outdoor enthusiasts like us… Go figure!
Then, after you’ve shared a few hunting spots with one another with , advocated to one another for the and , wished each other good luck, and parted ways and after you’ve gone out of sight and you’re heading the other direction… that same man carrying his boy in a back pack and a dog on ecollar, scrambles to catch you and asks if you can hunt as a group… We even got serenaded by Brooks with a short praise and worship set 😇 Don’t ever forget that the guys you view competitively in the parking lot at your favorite spot are not your enemy… They’re not even your competition… They’re your fellow enthusiast! Some are the future advocates of our passion and hobby!
Be courteous, be kind, and share ‘the field’! You too could have a memory like we shared today!!! We look forward to doing this again some day, Brooks!
