CHOW FANCIERS ASSOCIATION OF SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA WILL OFFER RINGSIDE OBSERVATION OPPORTUNITIES FOR PROSPECTIVE CHOW CHOW JUDGES AT THE KENNEL CLUB OF PALM SPRINGS SHOWS IN JANUARY, 2024



Chow Fanciers Association of Southern California (“CFASC”) will offer ringside observation opportunities for prospective Chow Chow judges at the Kennel Club of Palm Springs (“KCPS”) show on Saturday, January 6. 2024 (and maybe at the KCPS show on Sunday, January 7, 2024, depending on demand and scheduling). The events will be held at the Empire Equestrian Park and Polo Field, Indio, CA.



CFASC will have qualified Chowists at the shows to mentor interested judges. In addition, CFASC member/exhibitors will make selected dogs available for hands-on examination after judging. So, mark your calendars and RSVP with your preferred show day by December 25 to Chuck Bridges, [email protected], (209) 815-3613. Space is limited.

Our Specialty and Sweeps will be on Friday, January 5, 2024 concurrent with the Sand to Sea Non-Sporting Show.

CFASC will be supporting the Sand to Sea Non-Sporting Shows, Thursday and Friday, and then the Palm Springs Kennel Club on Saturday and Sunday.

Grooming Spaces:

CFASC has just purchased a block of 22 Reserved Grooming Spaces under Tent 3. The Grooming Spaces are $200 each and includes power and lights. There is NON-Reserved Space as well.

If you are interested in Reserving a space, please contact Laurann Malachowski, Treasurer, or Joyce Miller, Show Chair. We will send you an invoice for your grooming space and they will need to be paid by December 23, 2023.

CH Dreamland's Once More With Feeling BCAT finished his BCAT Title in Bakersfield by running 10.650 and 10.760 seconds, making him the fastest CHOW at an average speed of 19.77 MPH.

Kai's speed not only ranks him top of the chows in 2023, but puts him in the TOP 20 Fastest Chows ever. He is on a quest to obtain his DCAT Title like his Daddy, GCHB Dreamland's Drive it Like U Stole It CAA DCAT CGC TKN (Barkley), who is ranked #5 overall.
