Action from last night at Battle for the Bluff Rodeo. Round 2 tonight. Gates open at 5:30 for kids night. Come down in the arena for fun games, meet the cowboys and cowgirls, pet some horses and have fun.

Give my friend Elisabeth Kujala Photography a follow. She takes amazing pictures of not only rodeo action, but also behind the scenes stuff. She just posted a great post about flanks straps that’s been shared close to 100 times.
Since quite a few people took an interest in my post about flank straps, I thought it might be beneficial to see if there are any other aspects of the rodeo industry that people may have questions about. They could be anything, from producing events to rodeo terminology to livestock care. Please message me your questions! No question is a silly question. I’d like to see if I have photos that could help bring clarity to a subject, or if I can find some new subjects to photograph.
On the flip side, if you are a contestant or contract personnel, is there anything you wish you could share about your event or job that the general public may be unfamiliar with? Please let me know!
