Forest Ridge is a neighborhood composed of a diverse group of people who voluntarily combine their talents and energies to provide family friendly activities, youth sports opportunities, and neighborhood beautification.
A pest control specialist came out to the pool today to try and locate the reported wasp/hornet nest near or under the bridge from the parking lot to the pool. His inspection found no nests. The area is clear for traffic.
We have been made aware of a wasp nest under the bridge leading from the parking lot to the pool. A call has been made to a pest control company in hopes of getting this taken care of swiftly. If all goes well, we will be getting a quote and getting it removed tomorrow or Thursday. In the meantime, the bridge that leads to the fields is an alternate way to get to the pool from the parking lot...just with some added walking.
The Forest Ridge Association is beginning its process to find a lawncare company for the 2025 season. If you have a lawncare company and would like to submit a bid, please email [email protected] for detailed field locations and mulch beds.
To be considered your company must be able to apply 2 w**d chemical applications (1 spring and 1 fall) and have a minimum of 4 employees, not including the owner.
Proposals must be submitted by 16AUG2024.
We are aware of a tree down on the boulevard near Union Schoolhouse and have reached out to our tree company to take care of it and are waiting to hear back from them.
It is unknown if the city will clear it before we can get someone out.
