As promised, here are the highlights of FCC's Season 4 Championship Final.


Just like last season, the game that decided it all was played between Heart & Soul and Happy Feet - FCC Pro Club and once again H&S won the title.


Final Score: Heart & Soul 5-0 Happy Feet

With the latest FCC season coming to a close and ahead of tonight's Championship Final vs Happy Feet we thought it would be a good idea to release our second team montage.


The footage was edited by H&S' very own PTanney and hopefully it provides a little insight as to what our club is all about.

+++ H&S News: FCC Britannia League Playoffs: Never Surrender! +++

After finishing the Britannia League as runners-up, Heart & Soul had to face Fc Dutch United in the Semi-Final of the Playoffs.

Game 1: Heart & Soul vs Fc Dutch United


Starting at home, things quickly took a turn for the worse as a penalty was given away and then converted by Hofman to give Dutch United an early lead. In unbelievable fashion, the referee yet again pointed to the spot shortly after another foul in the penalty box. Hofman didn't miss and made it 2-0. H&S tried to fight back but the nightmare wasn't over as for the third time in a short period of time Dutch United benefited from another penalty. Hofman again showed great composure and scored his hattrick as a stunned crowd witnessed their hopes of seeing the Playoffs Final fade away.


However, showing great spirit and belief, Heart & Soul kept fighting and managed to pull one back before half-time as striker Rameen scored to make the score 1-3 at the break. The second half was dominated by the home team and their perseverance was rewarded with a last minute goal scored by John after some good build up play.


Final Score: Heart and Soul 2-3 Fc Dutch United

Game 2: Fc Dutch United vs Heart & Soul


After losing at home, Heart & Soul players knew they had to win by 2 goals to make it to the final so they set out to make a quick impact in the match. After a couple of dangerous attacks by the Dutch, H&S managed to score by striker André concluding a quick counter in the 37th minute.


Pressure was on and H&S kept pushing! Following a couple of missed chances, centre-back Zino out-jumped a defender and the goalkeeper and scored with a powerful header in the 67th minute. Heart and Soul went 2-0 up and was finally leading the Semi-Final!


Dutch United tried to fight back but they didn't manage to break through a compact H&S defense who held the result and proceeded to the Final of the Playoffs!


Final Score: Fc Dutch United 0-2 Heart & Soul

Heart & Soul have become the first ever FCC Cup winners by beating TFC Europe Utd 3-1 in the grand final!

It was a hard fought match from the start and TFC went 1-0 up in the 34th minute after a deflected shot by Momo hit Fabio Russo.There weren't many chances in the first half but after the break H&S started strong and managed to equalize as André was quick to get to the rebound after TFC's goalkeeper parried Rameen's header.


Controversy struck as TFC saw two goals disallowed due to offsides but H&S finally managed to jump in the lead after a quick counter was finished by André, assisted by Marcell.


TFC tried everything to equalize but H&S's goalkeeper Jeroen showed great reflexes and composure to hold on to the win. In a last ditch effort TFC's goalkeeper ran up to try to score but saw John score a long range shot after another assist by Marcell.


H&S clenched another title in the FCC and manager André reacted by saying 'It was important to win the Cup after a disappointing performance in the league. Thank you TFC for such an exciting final and we will see you next season!'.

Yesterday was a big day for Heart & Soul as the club reached it's 300th win! Congratulations to everyone who contributed and here's to another 300!

Other interesting stats:
- 53 seasons played
- 17 division 1 titles
- only relegated once from division 1
- ranked 14th in the top 100 leaderboard

A night to remember: tension, drama and a golden goal to decide it all!

After having won Season 3 of the FCC League, Heart & Soul still had to participate in the Playoffs to decide the overall winner. The night started off with the semi-final vs Israeli team IL Champs. H&S started strong and were up by 2 goals in the 16th minute thanks to a brace by striker Rameen. Near the end of the first half, George put Dez through with a fantastic pass and the striker didn't miss, increasing the lead to 3 goals. In the second half there weren't many chances as H&S just wanted to secure the result to make it to the final. Final score: 3-0.

It was then time to play the grand final vs Happy Feet. The German side had a great season (finished 2nd) and were the only team in the league who managed to beat Heart & Soul so everyone knew it was gonna be a tough game. The H&S Arena was packed and there were plenty of fans watching at home.

It was a hard fought match until the very end and even though H&S did create most of the chances, HF could have taken the lead on more than one occasion. As neither team managed to score during the 90 minutes, the final had to be decided with a golden goal. H&S was determined to get the win so the team kept pushing forward and on the 15th minute of extra time, after some good build up and a blocked shot, Dez found space in the box and crossed to Rameen who once again hit the back of the net! Final score: 1-0.

It was all over, players were celebrating on the pitch and fans were going crazy in the stands! Heart & Soul won the final and became Champions!

Semi Final:
Heart and Soul v IL Champs at 10:30pm GMT tonight!

Final:
Should we win, we will be play against Happy Feet who last night beat Anglo Celtics.
This will be at 11:00pm GMT

Streams will be posted just before the game starts!

So as the season comes to a close, we finished miles out in front and have been crowned the league champions.

However, there is still the play offs to be played to crown the FCC champion.

Semi Finals:

Anglo Celtics v Happy Feet (Wednesday 14th January)
Heart and Soul v IL Champs
(Thursday 15th January) 10:30pm GMT

Should we progress from the semi final, the final will be played at 11:00pm GMT
