课程分为三部分。 第一和第二部分主要是理论， 第三部分需要咨询师的实际工作经验。

有两个晚上大家都留下来补习，非常努力的学习并讨论在选择花精时必须确认的主要特质。这些内容有助于咨询师在专注咨询时，有结构的在脑海中构思问题，并且透过有效的澄清（复述/转述）和提问来让对方辨识并说出自己的状况和情绪。
